Due to the unbalanced nature of China’s agricultural development，agriculturalmechanization level is low in this area, especially there are not seeding aspects ofagricultural machinery for cabbage, radish, beet. It is necessary to grow crops bymachine in this region. Devices of seeding can improve the sowing efficiency and reducelabor force. Farmers will spend less time in planting crops. It is necessary to reducewastage in seeding time. In response to those problems, we design a laying seeder forsome types of little size seed. It can not only seed precisely, but also ridge, shape andpress, cover.The surface of ridging shovel is welded by two different size iron boards. Boardsflare gradually from the front to back, they push the soil smoothly. The front area thatboards touch with soil is added to reduce the leakage. The back board presses the soil.The hole of absorbing seeds is trumpet-shaped. It can absorb different-types seeds. Theseeder can sow multiple type seed. We design fertilizer unit for this machine additionally.It improves the utilization of fertilizers. The redesigned opener is composed bytrapezoid-board and adjusting bar. It suffers little resistance and disturbs the soil slightly.The trapezoid-board extends to the back of seeder, so the seed is discharged to the openerdirectly. The seeds can avoid by the wind blowing. The shaping and pressing unit canpress the ridge and ditch. It makes the ridge tight, the seeds contact with the soil tightly.The seeds get better condition in their germination and growing periods.By the trail of this machine in farm, the result showed that: this device can sowprecisely for beet, cabbage and radish; the distance of seeds is homogenous; crops thatare seeded grow perfectly. It combines agriculture machinery with agriculture well. Thismachine can meet the requirements of sowing cabbage, radish and beet.
