As we know vigorous development of water-saving irrigation plays a critical role inachieving sustainable development of agriculture, while, currently, greenhouse is usuallyirrigated by experience. Now in this article, taking greenhouse cucumbers as the subject ofstudy, according to the existing shortcomings of traditional irrigation,it has built a set ofgreenhouse cucumber irrigation decision supporting system based on the factor which is:greenhouse temperature, humidity, light intensity and cucumber stem flow. The maincontents of study are as follows:1. On the basis of domestic and overseas research, combining the growing conditions ofgreenhouse cucumbers, it analyzed the variation law of greenhouse temperature, humidity,light intensity and cucumber stem flow and have proved the significant correlation betweenstem flow rate and transpiration rate. Also it verified the feasibility of diagnosingcucumbers’water deficiency through slope rate of stem flow an VPD.2. Through the temperature, humidity, light intensity and stem flow collected duringthe cucumbers’fruiting period in greenhouse, aiming at the existing problem in irrigationprediction model established by traditional regression analysis in domestic, it simulated theBP neural network of artificial neural network to build a irrigation forecast model withMATLAB.3. The irrigation decision supporting system model base and database of greenhousecucumber was established according to the greenhouse’s real-time monitoring data, and thedecision process rules was made at the same time. It wrote irrigation supporting systemsoftware with VB6.0, which provided a friendly working platform that when the temperature,humidity, light intensity and stem flow are typed into it,the system can immediately get thewater conditions of cucumbers of that time,and give the theoretical value of irrigation volumeautomatically,so that providing decision support for operators.This system improved the accuracy of greenhouse cucumber irrigation model to forecastits irrigation volume to a great extent, saving time and cost for agriculture irrigation, and is ofcertain theoretical significance and practical values for the study of irrigation volume decisionsupporting system of production needed crop.
