This study was based on generation of the America Large White from Hebei Jingan Pig Farm, applying methods which included establishing register, performance measurement, GBS breeding software and the relative animal model BLUP, the choice of body appearance, established and improved the breeding system of boar. The objective of this study were to prevent the performance descension and improve pigs’performance. Research finding show:Setting one generation was the first generation of the America pigs, after one year’s breeding work, the total number born of one generation was10.71heads, the number born alive of zero generation was10.49heads, the total number born of zero generation was11.21heads, the number born alive of zero generation was9.61heads, the total number born and the number born alive of one generation were descended0.5heads,0.87heads, respectively, no significant difference (P>0.05). Genetic progress of the total number born was-0.54.Day to100kg of one generation boar was154.75d, zero generation was154.67d, one generation boar was increased by0.09d, no significant difference (P>0.05). Backfat thickness of day to100kg of one generation boar was9.56mm, zero generation was9.63, one generation boar was descended0.07mm, no significant difference (P>0.05). Showing the character of day to100kg of one generation boar was descended, but the character back thickness of day to100kg was improved. Day to100kg of one generation boar sow was172.07d, zero generation was165.17d, one generation was descended3.Id, significant difference(P<0.05). Backfat thickness of one generation sow was10.32mm, zero generation was10.53mm, one generation was descended0.21mm, significant difference(P<0.05). Showing character of day to100kg and backfat thickness sow were both improved. Genetic progress of Day to100kg was-3.03, backfat thickness of day to100kg was-0.17.The hips of one generation was58.81cm, zero generation was53.50cm, improving5.31cm, significant difference(P<0.05). The circumference of cannon bone was16.67cm. zero generation was15.30cm improving1.37cm significant difference(P<0.05). The size of head、body and bust of one generation were improved0.51、0.31and0.91. In conclusion, the reproductive traits of one generation compared to zero generation, performance reduced but no significant difference; day to100kg and backfat thickness of sow got genetic progress, day to100kg and backfat thickness of boar had no significant difference; The hips and circumference of cannon bone of body measurements of one generation were improved, The size of head、body and bust were improved, but no significant difference. Breeding efforts had got achievement. In future work, on basis of stable production traits, we should enhance the selection intensity of the total number born.
