Study On Corn’s Full Mechanization In Xingtai Area

The brilliant future of agriculture lies in agricultural mechanization, a basic characteristic ofmodern agriculture. In the process of agricultural production, machinery gradually replaces human andanimals to do heavy labor, and figures a lot in resources usage, natural disasters resistance, modernagricultural technology’s promotion and intensive farming advance as well. In addition to reducinggreatly the labor intensity of farmers, agricultural mechanization effectively increases yields and totaloutput, improves agricultural productivity, and decreases the cost of agricultural products. With itsfurther development, mechanization has achieved in each step of crops planting, such as wheat, rice,from ploughing to harvest. However, it is very difficult to realize on corn, especially the step of harvest,due to the influence of nature, society, economy, policy, etc., for example, traditional ideas, diversecropping patterns, and technology difficulties of corn mechanized harvesting, which have severelyrestricted the full mechanization of corn production and furthermore hinder the overall level’spromotion of China’s agricultural modernization. Therefore, the study on the full mechanization of cornbecomes meaningful with high practical value.This thesis, firstly, emphasizes the study on corn mechanization’s promotion and application ofXingtai area, Hebei Province, from the area’s actual situation and based on the comprehensive andsystematic analysis of the current pattern of corn mechanization and major practice at home and abroad;secondly, there is a possibility exploration on the full mechanization of corn in Xingtai area. To presentthis paper, a visit research gets involved in, the results of which on agricultural machinery households,agricultural cooperatives, agricultural management and agricultural enterprises leading to the study ofthose influential factors on corn mechanization, combined with practical experience in Xingtai area inrecent years. What’s more, from the social significance, the data and opinions in this paper will providea reference for government departments to develop the corn’s full mechanization.This paper finally comes to this point: the realization of corn’s full mechanization is imperative withthe principle of “voluntary farmers, policy support, market driven, model driven” under the current circumstances. Besides, in terms of the implementation of corn’s full mechanization in Xingtai area, the paper puts forward several suggestions and four feasible modes for the natives as well, namely “normal mode”,“corn-wheat standardized model”,“family farm model”“hilly area mode”. In short, corn mechanization is a systematic project, which requires, in the implementation process, close cooperation among the government, society and relevant departments of the market to ensure the policy of scrapping and updating those worn and outdated agricultural machinery.
