With global warming temperatures, planting acreage of maize is increased in every year andcontant turnover of maize varieties, Ostrinia furnacalis infestation has become increasinglyrampant. In order to clarify the infestate situation and control measures of the insect on cold area, there is a test starting from community ecology, investigated the arthropod communitycomposition and diversity of different varieties maize. Study the effects of different temperatureson growth and development of Ostrinia furnacalis. Determinat some indexes on physiologicaland biochemical that related with insect resistance in internal of different varieties maize. Have abioassay use of pesticide and biocontrol agents against larvae insect. The main results are asfollows:1. Ostrinia furnacalis can complete the entire growth period at15℃~35℃. The optimalgrowth and reproduction temperature of Ostrinia furnacalis was25℃. High temperatureenvironment is more conducive to breeding Ostrinia furnacalis.2. The survey of resistance of varieties maize against Ostrinia furnacalis found that the highestleaf damage rate is Haoyu418, the lowest is Zhengdan958. The hightest break tassel rate and breakstem rate is Haihe558, the lowest is Leiao402. From the result of physiological index measuring,we can see that the highest sugar content is Leiao402in testes varieties maize stem, the lowest isHaihe558. The highest SOD and POD activites is Tiannongjiu, the lowest is Leiao402. Frombreak stem rate comparing with physiological parameters internal of maize, the varieties whichhas higher break stem rate, the soluble sugar content is less. SOD and POD activities consistentwith break stem rate.3. Different concentrations of four kinds of pesticides have a certain role in the virulence ofOstrinia furnacalis third instar, the mortality increasing with concentration and treatment time.Cypermethrin had the best efficacy in the4kind pesticides on the tested. Corrected mortality ofOstrinia furnacalis larvae increasing with concentration of spores in1×105spore/mL~1×109spore/mL. In summary, the virulence of beauveria bassiana against Ostrinia furnacalis larvaewas increasing with processing time.4.The survey found that all six varietied maize have arthropods in total is2classes,11orders,25families,32species. The species of Pudan6is the most in orders, families and species ofarthropod community, it has the smallest dominant index the largest diversity index and evenness.Show that Pudan6is more harmonious and stable in6varieties of maize.
