Crucifers clubroot, caused by Plasmodiophora brassicae, has became more serious in Hunan since first reported in1984. Due to the lack of resistant clubroot varieties and controlling difficulty in the soil-borne disease, the disease has been one of the most diseases in Crucifers crops in some areas in Huan. Therefore, it is very important to explore and utilize new resistant varieties and resources, as well as integrated management technology in crucifers clubroot. In this paper, the resistance identification of some cruciferae varieties planted in Hunan, the related influence factors for clubroot occurrence and damage, and disease control were studied. The results were as follows:1. Resistance of55selected cruciferous cultivars to the clubroot was evaluated by methods of the natural infection in the field, and artificial inoculation at seedling stage in greenhouse and tissue culture room. Different selected cultivars resist distinctively to clubroot. Through the evaluation of3methods, the following varieties are resistant that can be planted in Hu’nan disease area, including16Chinese cabbage varieties, such as Jincaisanhao, Gailiangxiashuai, Jinkelv60, Xinjinlv75, etc.,26cabbage varieties such as Huaganyihao, Shinong591cabbage, YRchunlei cabbage, etc.,1mustard variety and1radish variety.5Chinese cabbage varieties were susceptible, including Aogui9912tezhong cabbage, Huangmeichun cabbage and so on;2mustard varieties were susceptible, for instance, lobulette potherb mustard and Liuxing mustard tuber that should not be applied to the disease area.2. The control efficiency of several biocontrol agents, chemical agents, physical measures, disease-resistant Chinese cabbage, beet and rape to the clubroot has been surveyed in this study. It turned out that these measures could work out based on the resting spore quantity of the clubroot contained in the soil of the demonstration area detected by Real-time Quantitative PCR Detecting System, including applying cyazofamid and chlorothalonil, manuring lime before transplantation, adjusting the soil pH value to7.5. Besides, Fengyou792Fl, zhongyouza11, xiangyouza199F1, CR09-2, CR11-6and qiulv60 are excellently disease-resistant. Furthermore, seedling stage is the crucial time for the prevention and treatment of clubroot.
