| Soil compaction also called soil solid degree or soil hardness or soilpenetration resistance, refers to the ability to resist the compaction and brokenfrom external force, it is usually measured with penetration method, expressedthe resistance to the probe when it was pushed into soil uniformly (unit: Pa).Soil compaction is an important physical properties of soil, it determines thepore and the status of water, fertilizer, gas, heat status of the soil directly orindirectly, by affecting the ability of ventilation and permeability, the existenceform and transformation of nutrient of the soil, as to affect the quality ofsprouting, seed eruptions and elongation of the crops and the rate of water useand soil nutrient absorption, thus to affect the crop growth, development and theproduct. Therefore, measurement and application of soil compactness is alwaysthe focus in related academic field. For a long time, people has done a lot ofwork on the study on the soil compactness, but the relationship of soilcompaction and soil physical and chemical characters is not fully understood,the soil compaction scope most suitable for a variety of crop is very vague. Itcan be said that some agronomic measures especially tillage measures on thebase is blind to a certain extent. Therefore, to explore the soil compactionproblem have the very important meaning for arranging cultivation measuresreasonably, and for saving the amount of work and time, for high product andefficiency. But the soil compaction meter produced in domestic and foreign aremanually operated, with single probe, it’s not easy to study on distribution of theseed row compactness with them; The vehicle mounted micro penetration of soil compaction measurement system with multi probe studied abroad, can’tanalyze soil compaction combining seed row contours, and using hydrauliccontrol system to push the probes into soil, is same as manual operation thatcan’t maintain a constant speed.This paper aims to develop a set of system for measuring the seed row soilcompaction distribution on the cross section with the motor control, it canaccurately measure the outline of the seed row, and the distribution of soilcompaction, it is convenient for the scholars in related fields to study the effectsof soil compaction distribution on crop.The main research contents include:1ã€Analyzed current domestic and overseas development status and mainresearch methods of soil compaction measurement, discussed the importanceand significance of soil compaction measurement;2ã€Analyzed measurement method of soil compaction at home and abroadin-depth, developed an overall design scheme that research the seed row soilcompaction distribution combined with contour of seed row;3〠Complete the design of profile measurement module and soilcompaction distribution measurement module scheme for seed row, for thecontrol module, PLC is used as controller and carries on two times ofdevelopments, design the man-machine interface based on C#, to realize dataacquisition, processing, storage and communication with PLC slave device so asto control the system;4ã€Take a test in the laboratory with the seed row soil compactionmeasurement system, combined with measurements of soil compaction and seedrow contour to draw the soil compaction degree distribution, and save data tolong-term storage in the specified file. |
