Transgenic Bt rice is a new type of inserting foreign genes insect-resistant rice, more and more attention paid to the research on its ecological security. In this study we used three different transgenic Bt rice and their isogenic rice tissue residues to feed the Folsomia Candida, analyzed the feeding preference of F. candida by determining the quantity and distribution of fecal pellets associated with different Bt or non-Bt rice; and we used three kinds of transgenic Bt rice with same isogenic rice tissue residues to feed the F. candida, put them in the20℃、5℃、0℃and-5℃, analyzed growth and development in the normal temperature and fitness in low temperature through survival rate, body length and reproductive rate. The result shows:(1) F. candida had different feeding preference on transgenic Bt rice and their isogenic rice tissue residues, but there is nothing to do with Bt protein produced by transgenic Bt rice.(2) Put F. candida on artificial soil with transgenic Bt rice and their isogenic rice tissue residues into20℃,5℃、0℃and-5℃, after28days we found transgenic Cry2A rice had significant high survival rate in0℃with other transgenic Bt rice and isogenic rice. In normal temperature, transgenic Bt rice and isogenic rice had same effect on F. candida’s survival rate, body length and reproductive rate. At all the result of transgenic Bt rice had no harmful effect compared with isogenic rice in normal and low temperature.(3) Put F. candida after feed transgenic Bt rice and their isogenic rice tissue residues into5℃、0℃low temperature, analyzed fitness in low temperature through number of empty gut and excretion rate. The result shows the low temperature could promote excretion, the maximum excretion rate and the number of fecal pellets at12hours of F. candida in transgenic Cry2A rice significant higher than other rice variety. But there is no disadvantage influence between transgenic Bt rice and isogenic rice.In conclusion, through feeding preference test and fitness test in normal temperature, transgenic Bt rice compare with isogenic rice there is no adverse effect. In low temperature F. candida of transgenic Cry2A rice appeared higher survival rate than other kinds of rice maybe have a reason of excretion rate. Transgenic Bt rice also have no adverse effect in low temperature.
