In order to solve the difficulty of providing earth in rice seedling period of the northern region, the experiment have mainly studied the impacts of rice seedlings in five different raising materials which are rice husk, mushroom bran, mixed rice husk and mushroom bran of the same volume, the shaped growing tray, and soil. By measuring the quality of rice seedlings at different times, in different materials and the physical and chemical properties in different raising materials to find out the impacts of rice seedling in different raising materials.The conclusions after the experiment are as follows:1.In terms of chlorophyll and leaf nitrogen of rice seedlings, in five kinds of raising mat-erials,the rice seedlings have the highest amount of chlorophyll and leaf nitrogen, soil follow and the least is in the rice husk.2.In terms of rice seedling root length, the rice seedling roots in the matrix plate were longest at the two-leaf stage, followed by the roots in the soil. The rice seedling roots in the mixed matrix plate were shortest at the three-leaf stage, meanwhile, there was no significant difference in the other 4 species matrix. At the four-leaf stage there was no significant difference among the different raising materials.3.In terms of In the height and stem diameter of the rice seedling, the matrix disc and soil were the best choice, followed the mushroom bran. The worst one was rice husk substrate.4.In terms of the fresh weight and dry weight of the rice seedlings, the best material was the matrix plate. The worst one was the rice husk for the fresh weight and dry weight of the rice seedlings. The dry weight of the rice seedlings was best at the second and the threeleaf stage. At the four-leaf stage,there was no difference among the different raising materials.5.In terms of the actual photosynthetic rate and the maximum photosynthetic rate, the matrix disc was the best material. The rate of utilization photosynthesis was relatively close in the five kinds of raising materials.6.In terms of the seedling index and G value of the rice seedlings,there was no significant difference in the five different raising materials. The highest G value was in the matrix plate and the lowest one was in the rice husk.7.1n terms of rooting ability of rice seedlings, the longest roots are in matrix disc, the shortest are in the mushroom bran, the most are in the mixed matrix,the least are in the mushroom bran.8.Rice seedlings like acidic soil, in the experiment, the five different matrix discs after raising materials showed slightly acidic pH of acid. Just according to the pH alone, the matrix of this study are very suitable for rice seedling.9.The active ingredients in he matrix disc, mushroom bran, rice husk matrix are more than the ingredients in the soil matrix formulation, which are sufficient to meet the need for NPK of rice seedlings.Based on the analysis of the results, the optimal matrix has the best comprehensive quality of rice seedlings, which can replace boards for soil on rice seedlings.
