The purpose is developed intestinal protection additives for weaned piglets, this experiment studied the effects of the three additives for intestinal of weaned piglets by adding 1% coked hawthorn, coked malt, coked medicated leaven in weaned piglet’s basal diet. The weaned piglets were divided into four groups and each one fed with adding coked hawthorn, coked malt, coked medicated leaven and feed with basal diet, respectively. Choose the well-developed piglet with the average weight to slaughter after feed with 7 days and 14 days, then collected the small intestinal and stomach tissue, to study different feed additions’ effect on the pH of gastrointestinal of weaned piglets, intestinal morphology and gastrin secretion. The results were as follows:Hawthorn can effectively reduce the pH of the gastrointestinal, the pH of duodenal, jejunum, ileum and stomach in hawthorn group were significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05). The villous height of duodenal and jejunum in hawthorn group were significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05). The pH of the duodenum, ileum and stomach in medicated leaven group were significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05), The crypt depth of duodenum and ileum in medicated leaven group were lower than the control group, not significant differences(P>0.05), The villous height of ileum in medicated leaven group were lower than the control group, not significant differences (P>0.05), The gastrin cell numbers of duodenal gastrin secretion in medicated leaven group was significantly greater than the control group (P<0.01), The gastrin cell numbers of gastric secretion of in the medicated leaven group was significantly higher than the control group (P>0.05).Conclusion:Adding 1% coke medicated leaven in piglets’ feed can promote the development of intestinal morphology, repair damaged intestinal mucosal structure, maintain the integrity of the mucosal structure and improve intestinal health. It plays a protective role in protecting intestinal tract in weaned piglets.
