| Foxtail millet precision planter developed by Shanxi Agricultural University and South Korea Zhang company can precisely control the sowing amount and sowing distance and change the drawback of traditional cultivation, which is time-consuming and laborsome. In order to investigate a reasonable precision sowing program, this experiment was carried out in Shanxi Agricultural University agricultural station from May 2013 to October 2014. In this experiment, JinGu 21 and ZhangZa 10 were used as the materials. JAS-502B type precision planter used three seeding round (F round, X round and YJ round) and three Seeding Distance (7cm,10cm and 13cm). A randomized block design. Research the effects of Sowing Amount and Sowing Distance of Precision Planter on emergence and physiological characteristics and yields of Foxtail Millet. The experiment are as follows:(1) The planting densities of the two varieties were increased with the increase of seeding amount. The planting distance and standard deviation of planting distance reduced with increase of sowing amount. Used F round have highest planting density, least planting distance and standard deviation of planting distance. Used YJ round have least planting density, largest planting distance and standard deviation of planting distance. JinGu 21 and ZhangZa 10 planting density reduced with the sowing distance. The planting distance and standard deviation of planting distance increased with sowing distance. Used 7cm sowing distance have highest planting density, least planting distance and standard deviation of planting distance. Used 13 cm sowing distance have least planting density, largest planting distance and standard deviation of planting distance.(2) Each Growth period of Foxtail Millet, Plant height increases with increase of the planting density, stems rough and LAI and Bio weight reduced with planting density. Used F round in higher planting density, Agronomic characters difference were little, Agronomic characters difference were changed larger with reduced of planting density, Agronomic characters difference were little in Jointing stage, Agronomic characters difference were changed larger in Heading Stage and Filling stage.(3) Each Growth period of Foxtail Millet, Chl-a increases with the planting density, Chl-b reduced with planting density. Used F round in higher planting density, Chlorophyll content difference were little, Chlorophyll content difference were changed larger with reduced of planting density, Chlorophyll content difference were little in Jointing stage, Chlorophyll content difference were changed larger in Heading Stage and Filling stage. In later period, the speed of Chlorophyll content reduced, increases with the planting density.(4) Each Growth period of Foxtail Millet, Ci increases with the planting density, Pnã€Tr and Gs reduced with planting density. Used F round in higher planting density, Photosynthesis characters difference were little, Photosynthesis characters difference were changed larger with reduced of planting density, Photosynthesis characters difference were little in Jointing stage, Photosynthesis characters difference were changed larger in Heading Stage and Filling stage.(5) Each Growth period of Foxtail Millet, NPQ increases with the planting density,ΦPSâ…¡ã€ETR and qP reduced with planting density. Used F round in higher planting density, fluorescence characters difference were little, fluorescence characters difference were changed larger with reduced of planting density, fluorescence characters difference were little in Jointing stage, fluorescence characters difference were changed larger in Heading Stage and Filling stage.(6) Each Growth period of Foxtail Millet, NR and Soluble Pr reduced with planting density. Used F round in higher planting density, NR and Soluble Pr difference were little, NR and Soluble Pr characters difference were changed larger with reduced of planting density, NR and Soluble Pr difference were little in Jointing stage, NR and Soluble Pr difference were changed larger in Heading Stage and Filling stage.(7) In maturity stage, Foxtail Millet grain yield per plant reduced with planting density, Used YJ round have best growing. Plant height and Spike length increases with the planting density, First node crude, Ear diameter,Stem weight,Leaf weight and Ear weight reduced with planting density. Grains per spike weight and Grain weight reduced with planting density.Traditional Foxtail Millet varieties JinGu 21 has fewer tillersand high germination rate, Traditional Foxtail Millet varieties JinGu 21 has fewer tillersand high germination rate, use F round+13cm Sowing Distance is better, when soil moisture content low, reduce Sowing Distance to guarantee emergence. Hybrids Foxtail Millet varieties ZhangZa 10 is tillers and germination rate is low and resistant to high density, use F round +7cm Sowing Distance is better, when soil moisture content low, Can not use YJ round. |
