The Technique Of Rapid Reproduction On Potentilla Reptans

Potentilla reptans has good ecological adaptability, can be wildly used as cover plant. But the seed setting rate is low and difficult to collect, so it is diffcult that using the method of seed breeding to reach the effect of rapid propagation. And the method of ramets propagation not only reproduce slowly, but also destroys limited wild resources, so reaching the technique of rapid reproduction on Potentilla reptans is of great significance. This experiment with the stem segments of Potentilla reptans as the material, from four aspects for further study, such as, planting method, vegetation type, ratio of fertilizer and root-promoting hormone etc, the results show that:(1) In three different planting method, the method of spreading stems and covering soil works best. Using this method to reproduce Potentilla reptans have the highest survival rate, fastest growth in coverage, the number of ramets and stolons, and higher biomass accumulation and chlorophyll content.(2) In three different growing point number of Potentilla reptans stem segment, the three growing point of stem section has the best breeding effect. Three growing point of stem section has highest survival rate, fastest growth in coverage, the number of ramets and stolons, and higher biomass accumulation and chlorophyll content.(3) In fertilization, NPK1:1:2 ratio of fertilizer is the most beneficial to Potentilla reptans rapid propagation. It has highest survival rate, fastest growth in coverage, the number of ramets and stolons, and highest biomass accumulation and chlorophyll content.(4) In rooting hormone treatment, ABT60mg/L treatment of Potentilla reptans stems breeding effect is better. It has higher survival rate, higher biomass accumulation and chlorophyll content.(5) The rapid propagation method of Potentilla reptans:firstly, applying nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium ratio for 1:1:2 fertilizer in the field, and then cutting Potentilla reptans stolons into stem section with three growing points, and put it into the ABT60mg/L solution to soak. Finally, planting Potentilla reptans stem section with the spreading stems and covering soil method and irrigating.
