In this paper, the relationships between package types, storage way, storage time as well as stroage conditions of bare-root seedlings and dehydration degree were studed the relationships between dehydration degree and physiological-biochemical indices such as peroxidase(POD), catalase(CAT), polyphenol oxidase(PPO),malonyl-diadehyde(MDA), the conductivity value, the resistance value as well as the moisture content were determined the experiments were performed using dehydration degree, planting method and the planting survival rate.(1)D ehydration degree, moisture content and the resistance value were associated with water content of plant tissue. Relationship between dehydration degree of seed-lings (i.e., degree of weight loss) and moisture content of leaf (total water content, free water content, bound water content), and the resistance value of root, stem, leaf were determined and analyzed, it showed that there was a correlation between dehydr-ation degree, water content and the the resistance value.(2)T he seedling dehydration rate was basically the same trend in different tempera-ture and humidity conditions, initially it was faster, and then gradually tended to decline and gentle. The dehydration rate of different weather were as follows: clear+high> clear+low> cloudy> rain the sunny weather, the condition of sunny day with high temperature, the dehydration rate was double of rainy day (in sunny days with high temperature, the dehyration rate was25.62%, it was12.25%in rainy days).(3)A t the same time, the dehyration rate of the three storage methods of seedlings were as follows: bare root stroage> plastic bag storage> heel storage. After storing21hours, the dehyration rate of bare root seedlings was three times higher than that in the heel storage (the dehyration rate of bare root storage was0.58%, it was0.18%in the heel storage).(4)The dehyration rate of above-ground part(stems, leaves) and underground part (root) were measured and analyzed, indicating that in the same conditions, the dehyration rate of the roots was the fastest with large-scale changes, the dehyration rate of leaf was the slowest with small-scale changes, the dehyration rate of stem was between them.(5)The dehyration degree had a significant effect on the planting suvival rate of Camellia oleifera. The planting survival rate was different degree of water loss. The planting survival rate was respectively97.5%,86.7%,80%,6.7%when the dehyration degree was0%,10%,20%,30%. Therefore, the seedlings should be kept fresh and the dehydration degree maintains within20%in the planting process.(6)The storage survival rate of the three storage methods was heel storage> plastic bag storage> bare root storage. Under the conditons of the the sunny days with the temperature of16℃or over, short-term transporting within6hours, the storage measures such as plastic bags packaging and mud stained root should be taken, long-term storage must be heel. Heel quality had a significant effect on the survival rate. The survival rate of extensive heel decreased with time, while the high quality heel can recover root growth and increase the planting survival rate.(7)The properly and the reasonable level planting depth were beneficial to improve the planting survival rate of seedlings, moreover, there was a highly significant difference between picking leaf level and the planting survival rate (P=0.001<0.01) it is a reasonable planting depth to put the graft1cm above ground.(8)Under the conditions of bare-root storage, storage time had extremely significant effects on the shoot growth of oil-tea (P=0.001<0.01) the shoot increment of different picking leaf level was picking3/3leaves> picking2/3leaves t> picking1/3leaves of t> no picking leaves. In the early growth stage, the shoot growth of picking3/3leaves was6.57times as many as no picking leaves (the shoot growth of picking leaves3/3was1.84cm, no picking leaves was0.28cm).(9)The general changing trend of PPO, CAT, POD activity were the same, which first increased and then decreased as the dehydration degree increased with the enzyme activity reached its peak at the20%dehydration degree. There were positive correlations between the content of MDA, relative conductivity and the dehydration degree, among them increasing rapidly at dehydrating above20%(the regression coefficients were0.7628,0.6431). The two indices both increased slowly when the dehydration degree less than20%, the content of MDA increased from43.65μmol.g-1to50.98mmol.g-1, and the relative conductivity value increased from29.18%to38.07%. With the increasing dehydration degree, the resistance value also gradually increased. At the same dehydration degree, there were differences of the resistance value and its growth rate between different parts of seedlings, the resistance value of early dehydration was as follows: leaves> stems> roots, the growth rate of the resistance value of was: roots> stem> leaves. The factors affecting planting survival rate and biomass accumulation and are complex, therefore, in order to achieve a higher survival rate, according to environm- enttal conditions, we should select proper packaging measures, takereasonable storage methods, strictly controll the storage time, as well as regulate the storage temperature, humidity, keep seedling higher water content, and combine scientific methods and post planting management.
