In the southwest of China has large crop areas located in the hilly terrain, where have a low level of mechanization. However, the small combine harvester has the characteristics of small size, light weight and strong adaptability, which can meet the minds of automated harvesting in the hilly country. As a result, it reduces the labor intensities of farmers and liberates and develops the productive forces. In order to shorten the development cycle and improve the performance of the key components of agricultural machinery, the wobble cutter of full-feeding combine is studied using digital design methods, and a cutting mechanism digital design system is developed for providing another method for other models’ design. The works of this paper include the following aspects:1. The working principle of suspending link organization is analyzed theoretically. The movement equation of suspending link organization is deduced by analytical method and the motion parameters are gained. It can provide the relevant technical parameters for structure designing of suspending link organization. Meanwhile, the stress analysis of every part is made, and the dynamics and statics equation is established, which can provide the theortical basis for designing and optimizing the suspending link organization.2. The cutting principle and cutting speed were analyzed, and the best cutting speed is found. Moreover, the key factors of cutter performance is discussed providing the theory basis for improving the cutting efficiency.3. The complex design process of wobble cutter is designed to be friendly software interface using the VB programming language, which normalizing the methods of design, calculation and check, and establishing a database system.4. SolidWorks API is used to secondary development on SolidWorks, the data generated by design and calculation of the main parts as the basic size, and is connected to the design and calculation module, and automatically generates and assembles three-dimensional solid models.5. As the model is imported into Adams software, the kinematic and dynamic simulation is finished. And the result of displacement, velocity, acceleration graph is reached.To compare the emulation result with calculation result, it is found that the simulation results are coincide with the design. At the same time, it provide the important data for the finite element analysis.6. Important parts of the cutting mechanism are analyzed for stress intensity by using SolidWorks Simulation.
