Milk SCC is not only an international standard of judging cows with mastitis, but also an important symbol of milk quality. Therefore, the detection of milk SCC is of great significance. Under the background of global mobility, devices based on intelligent mobile platform gradually replace the traditional devices, and milk SCC count devices based on mobile platform is a vital direction of traditional milk SCC count devices. Compared to traditional milk SCC devices, It has lots of advantages, such as small size, high integration, portable and intelligence. And it has broad application prospects in real-time detection direction.Milk SCC count system based on Android platform consists of the count device and the count software. The main contents of this paper are:①Starting from significance of milk SCC, the existing milk SCC technology and devices are introduced. Combined with development direction and trend of mobile terminals, an idea of combination with milk SCC device and mobile platform are pointed out, and the importance and necessity of this system’s design are described.②Some image processing arithmetic is studied and compared under the MATLAB simulation of milk SCC images. The preprocessing image is counted by “Fire Spread” count algorithm based on top-hat transform binaryzation, which supports the image processing arithmetic for the milk SCC software based on Android platform.③The framework and the application program development of Android is studied and analyzed detailedly. The possibility of milk SCC application in mobile device is proposed and the platform is supported for the software. Based on the software development platform of eclipse, the procedure is written by Java in the milk SCC software. The software realizes the function of image acquisition, image screenshot, image preprocessing, image threshold segmentation and image cell count with characteristic of distinct interface and quick response.④ The milk SCC device is developed and the microfluidic sampling and fluorescence amplifier module are mainly introduced. The milk SCC system is tested under the Android platform, which compared with the result under the microscope. Results show the veracity of the milk SCC system.
