| Desertification is one of the most serious ecological environment problems in the world..Presently biological sand fixation, engineering sand fixation, and chemical sand fixation are common applications in the world. And the third Procedure received a large progress among them which could be automatically with fast and simple manipulation and take effect rapidly.With bentonite, polyacrylamide as raw materials, use the method of solution blended process to achieve the preparation of a new water retention agent. To effectively control desertification and improve the natural environment in desert areas an eco-friendly sand-fixing material was prepared with gypsum as main material, adding suitable amount of sand, water retention agent, sawdust, SDS, et al. The results show that: The obtained best performance with strength is 3.40 MPa, water absorption is 42.33%, water retention is 79.24% and porosity is 44.73%, under the sand content of 30%, water-retaining agent dosage of 4%, sawdust content of 8%, and SDS content of 0.3%. The mechanical property and water retention capacity of materials were analyzed in virtue of XRD、SEM、FT-IR、AAS. The good freeze-thaw resistance, aging-resistant, water erosion and wind erosion of the gypsum based sand-fixing material has been studied. The results show this material has excellent weather fastness. Finally by vegetative test, show that the material has good suitability.The sand-fixing material had no pollution to the environment and suitable for plant growth, therefore, it will have a wide application prospect in the desert governance. |
