In order to provide the sand-fixating material that have good sand-fixation plant viability,effective to control desertification,in this paper, based on the qinghai-tibet plateau desertification area psammophyte characters and growth environment,by the sands test that exclud sand-fixating materials,choose 5 kinds of sand-fixation plants suitable to grow in qinghai-tibet plateau desert area;by different company way test the plant mixing with gypsum sand-fixation material, choose best fit way that the plant mixing with sand-fixation material.On the base of gypsum sand-fixating material,reasonable adding auxiliary materials,straw,organic fertilizer, black soil,according to performance affect each auxiliary material for sand-fixating material to carring on the orthogonal experiment,ensure various auxiliary materials have optimum volume.The results show that the straw dosage is 6%, the organic fertilizer dosage is 6%, the black soil dosage is 15%,the materials have the best performance and good plants compatibility,the sand-fixating plant material compressive strength is 1.63 MPa,water retention rate is 71.70%, the porosity is 50.59%,germination rate is 98.00%.Through research on the durable properties of gypsum based sand-fixation composite materials,indicate that the sand-fixating material has good capacity that resistance ultraviolet radiation,resistancen cyclic freezing,resistance thawing erosion.Regard gypsum sand-fixating composite materials as substrates,using the selected 5 kinds of sand-fixating plants,to sand-fixating plant the effect of the wild test in qinghai lake surrounding field,to temperature and moisture content test for sand-fixating material sand bed,and discuss the different way plant compatibility mechanism of plant and gypsum based sand-fixating composite materia mixed vegetation test, results show that the gypsum based sand-fixating composite material have dramatic temperature control moisturizing effect for sand bed inside,the matching mode that sand-fixating material and 5 kinds of plant seed mix plant and plant five kinds of plant after sand-fixating material form cave, plant compatibility effect is remarkable,germination rate is more than 70%, show that the sand-fixating material have superior performance and remarkable sand-fixating plant effect.Finally, carry on the design that the photovoltaic water chemical sand-fixating plant demonstration project. It is lay the foundation for the the sand-fixation plant life in qinghai lake surrounding arid areas.
