Six tree-ring cores of Larix sibirica Ledeb and Picea obovata Ledeb were sampled from the middle of Altay at the lower elevation of 1354-1970 m. Six tree-ring width chronologies were developed using standard dendrochronological methods and the features and their climatic information were analyzed in this paper. It shows that :Among all the six sampling sites, the standardization chronology of BKL the sample representative and signal-noise ratio is highest, the mean sensitivity is higher, one order autocorrelation is smaller,it Shows that the standardization chronology of BKL was contained more climate information,The second is the DDQ.According to number of mutual relations between Tree-ring Width Chronologies, the Regional chronology of BKQ Was synthesized by the BKL and DDQ two Collect points and the Regional chronology of BDEJ Was synthesized by the BKL、DDQ、EDN and JDQ four Collect points.Analysis of six chronologies and two Regional chronologies climate response found that:BKL chronology relative to the other five single point chronologies and two Regional chronologies In the Reconstruction of precipitation series for altay weather stations from this June to August May has a very good application potential, the Regional chronology of BDEJ In the Reconstruction of Rainy days for altay weather stations from this April to August May has a very good application potential.1.The growth of Larix sibirica Ledeb and Picea obovata Ledeb. in the middle of Altay region is intensively limited by the precipitation(from 6 to 8). The result has distinct physiological significance. It was verified that the reconstructed precipitation series was reliable.2.There were eight drier stages bellow its mean and eight wetter stages above its mean in the 297 years. the longest drier stages occurred from 1848 to 1905, continuing 58years; and the longest wetter stages occurred from1906 to 1944, continuing 39 years.3.Abrupt changes from high to low in 1808-1809, and abrupt changes from low to high in 1888.4.There were significantly quasi-periodic change of 16.333 a,3.843-3.920and3.111-3.141 aat 0.05 level in the long-term precipitation series reconstructed.
