Qinghai-tibet plateau had a complex high altitude, cold climate, environmental conditions. And barley precocious, cold-resistant, drought-enduring, alkali-resisting and poor soil tolerant is a natural ecological environment of qinghai-tibet plateau area advantage crops.In recent years, the main production areas of qinghai-tibet plateau barley received a variety of production technical application promotion and formed the production and technology systems. The broad masses demand of barley varieties for farmers and herdsmen is more urgent. Crop area trial is an important method for the new crop varieties identification of high and stable yield, adaptability, resistance quality, and a key factor for field production. The purpose of this study was to use AMMI model and correlation analysis to analyses the relative data of national barley varieties in 2009-2011, which should be useful information for the high and stable yield and wide adaptability of barley varieties. the study has the following main conclusions:1. The analysis of barley regional trial showed that 0376(Hiploy / Shencunerleng) was a high yield and stable type; 9642 with the highest yield and universal stability; T161-4/91-71 with the stable type but low yield; 9640 with the high yield but the worst stability; and XZ-01 with the lowest yield and poor stability.2.The analysis of Varieties of adaptability showed that 0379 was a poorer universal adaptability and special adaptability in the pilot Daofu in Sichuan;0376 was the best universal adaptability and special adaptability in the pilot Huzhu in Qingha;XZ-01 was a poorer universal adaptability and special adaptability in the pilot Lasa in Xizang;Kang qing three was a better universal adaptability and special adaptability in the pilot Huzhu in Qingha;QXZ01was the poorest universal adaptability and a special adaptability in the pilot Hezuo in Gansu;9640 was a poor universal adaptability and special adaptability in the pilot West Town in Qinghai;91-71 was a poorer universal adaptability and special adaptability in the pilot West Town in Qinghai;97-20-9-1 was a poor universal adaptability and special adaptability in the pilot Ma er kang in Sichuan;9642 Twas a better universal adaptability and special adaptabilityin the pilot Huzhu in Qingha;T161-4 was a better universal adaptability and special adaptability in the pilot Diqing in Yunnan.3. The correlation analysis of Barley yield and its related factors for 2009-2011 y ears showed that growth period, plant height and yield were negative correlation, ear grain numbers per spike, thousand seed weight and yield are positive correlation. The results demonstrated that ear grain numbers per spike and thousand seed weight had c losely relationship with the production and the thousand seed weight is the main restri cting factors. In order to increase the production of barley in the future, we need to make an increase in thousand seed weight. The growth period had positive correlation with plant height, ear grain numbers per spike and only thousand seed weight signifi cantly. Multiple regression analysis showed that the path coefficient of thousand seeds weight was the highest, the thousand seeds weight had an important role in the yield.
