Guangdong Province, sweet, waxy corn rapid development,sweet corn has becomeparticularly important for efficient crops and specialty industries.Crop area is theidentification of new crop varieties test high yield, stable yield, adaptability, resistancequality and an important means of value is the basis for species identification, but also thevariety can enter the key field production.This study of Guangdong Province in2010-2012sweet glutinous corn varieties tested regional trial data were compared to fresh corn on thebreeding of raising the level of production levels and promote the industrialization processand to provide a frame of reference, the study has the following main conclusions:(1)2010-2012three-year total of26regional trial tested combination of waxy corn,sweet corn38combinations tested, so far, of which14and12waxy corn sweet cornportfolio has passed Guangdong Province Variety Approval Committee. Breeding unitswere from Guangdong, Hainan, Hubei, Sichuan, Hebei, Beijing and other provinces,including research institutes, universities and seed enterprises.(2) By2010-2012waxy maize regional trial tested a total of26combinations yieldstability analysis showed that seed yield than the control were significant differencesbetween the tested combination accounted for85%(22), highly significant differences inaccounting69%of the tested combinations (18), were tested seed production in the lowperformance of the portfolio. Soluble sugar content of sweet corn are requiredto achieve high sweet that sweetness is better; mostly in thin pericarp thickness or less.Waxy corn amylose have reached the two requirements above, indicating that the stickywaxy better; pericarp thickness majority are below average. Sweet, waxy corn tastepalatability score90points or more experts are less. Rhizoctonia leaf blight disease and an earof sweet corn, waxy corn rate impact than on the impact of large, sheath blight diseaseindex and sweet corn ear rate showed a significant negative correlation (-0.3137*). And ear length, rows per ear, grain number and fresh weight of singlebud direct path coefficients were0.11,-0.26,0.16and0.81. Waxy maize yield testedcombinations and yield factors related correlation analysis showed that plant height, earheight, stem diameter, ear length, ear diameter, single bud fresh weight, single spike weight,fresh grains per panicle weight, grain weight showed a significant positive correlation. Andplant height, ear length, ear diameter, bald long, single bud fresh weight, the seed ratedirect path coefficients were0.238,0.205,0.275,0.147,1.192and0.115; including ear lengthand single bud fresh weight of sweet, fresh Spike yield have a significant impact, directpath coefficient is large, play a decisive role.
