Salinization has been considered as one of the main environmental problems in global agriculture and natural ecology. As a kind of halophyte, Lycium ruthenicum Murr has a high economic and medical value, it is also has the great significance for salt environment adaptability. The leaves of Lycium ruthenicum Murr and nicotiana benthamiana were selected for the study materials. We treated Lycium ruthenicum Murr and nicotiana benthamiana with 100,200, 300,400 mmol/L NaCl, Based on the Lycium ruthenicum Murr in different concentrations during different Light-response curve, combined with observing the resistance of morphological characteristics, physiological characteristics and leaf anatomical structure characteristics, the main conclusions were obtained as the follows:Salt stress can inhibit photosynthesis of Lycium ruthenicum Murr. At the beginning 24 hours, apparent quantum yield has not suffered significantly under 100,200 and 300 mmol/L NaCl treatments. However, the apparent quantum yield of Lycium ruthenicum Murr has been declined after 3hours under 400mmol/L NaCl treatment. Dark respiration rate of Lycium ruthenicum Murr increased in initial stage and then declined. All the different kinds of salt concentration can inhibit dark respiration rate at the first 24 hours and restore at the next 24 hours. Overall the dark respiration has inhibition certainly. As a kind of halophytes, the photosynthetic capacity of nicotiana benthamiana can be inhibitted by different kinds of salt concentration. The type of photoresponse curves are different between leaves treated by 400mmol/L and 100-300mmol/L NaCl. This indicated that 400mmol/L NaCl treatment could affect Lycium ruthenicum Murr most, and this concentration may over the tolerance of NaCl.By measuring the proline content of Lycium ruthenicum Murr, We found that the content of proline is increasing with the NaCl treatment time. All the results demonstrated that 400mmol/L NaCL treatment injured Lycium ruthenicum Murr most.Combined with the morphological feature and anatomical structure of leaf. All the dates indicated that Lycium ruthenicum Murr can tolerate 100-300mmol/L NaCl stress but not the 400mmol/L condition. All in all,400mmol/L NaC1 treatment could injure Lycium ruthenicum Murr most and over the toleration. |
