Nowadays, with the fast development of economy and society, we gain the rapid development in science and technology,as the same happen to agriculture industry in China. China is a large agricultural country, agriculture is the primary industry of our country now. With the industrialization of import accelerating, leading to the elderly and children left in rural areas, as the result, the current rural farming population continue declining, with the improvement of the land circulation policy, traditional individual small scale agriculture gradually transform into large-scale cooperative farm mode, by the means of science and technology, some can completed the task of agricultural production, with the development and the rise of using network technology and information technology, intelligent agriculture is been discovered. China is a country with a large population, how we can meet the demand of 13 hundred million population’s food supplies is a big problem. The demand of commissariat is very large; however, the traditional agriculture is often influenced by the season, crops are intelligent to seasonal. Therefore, the smart agricultural greenhouse emerges as the times require and develop prosperously.Based on the technology of sensor technology, wireless communication technology and other things, the opportunities and challenges of the present intelligent greenhouse are been offered, the agricultural science and technology in the south of agricultural greenhouse is the main application of key technologies. the research and development application system can reduce production costs and improve the level of cultivation, establish a scientific decision-making system of Southern Agricultural Greenhouse system to integrate resources. Through intelligent, we can reduce the cost of greenhouse agricultural products, improve agricultural product output, meet the qualified quality and market competitiveness, improve the overall level of agricultural industry.On the basis of previous studies, Focus on the status of China’s current situation and development, according to the analysis of national policy, the development of modern scale agricultural development, the first chapter describes the background and significance of this study and the status of domestic and foreign research, and the development of modern agriculture. The second chapter explains the status of the technology and industry development of the Internet of things in China, and focuses on the important technologies involved in the agricultural technology. The third chapter is the application of sensor technology in the intelligent agricultural greenhouse environment detection, this chapter mainly introduce the impact of greenhouse crop growth environment factors of various sensors, select the various functions of the sensor to detect greenhouse environment. The fourth chapter introduces the design of ZigBee sensor network. The fifth chapter introduces the design of ZigBee-LTE(4G)gateway. The sixth chapter summarizes the work of this paper, and look forward to the next step.
