Study On Phyllostachys Pubescens Community Structure And Harvesting Management Measures In Tianmu Mountain National Nature Reserve

Phyllostachys pubescens forest was planted by monks in Tianmu Mountain in the early days. After the Tianmu Mountain forest farms had been established in 1953, Phyllostachys pubescens forest has been further development and utilization. Some reclamation and cultivation measures had been used to recover the Tianmu Monutain, such as clearing the broadleaf trees, which made the forest types turned to regressive succession that the evergreen broad-leaved forest invaded by Phyllostachys pubescens forest. According to the forest reaource inventory data for management in 2004, the area of the Phyllostachys pubescens forest taking 8.6 percentage of the Tianmu Mountain forest farms had expanded from 55.1 hectare to 87.5 hectare. On the basisi of investigate in June 2014, Phyllostachys pubescens forest had been increased to 105.38 hectare. Taking the Qinglong Mountain in the eastern side of Chanyuan temple as an example, the broad-leaved evergreen forests that consist of Castanopsis sclerophylla, Castanopsis fargesii, Cinnamomum camphora, Cyclobalanopsis glauca and others at first was been destructed because of Phyllostachy pubescens invasion. Relying on the strong reproduction ability of its root, the area of the Phyllostachys pubescens forest would expanded to pure forest over time, which would make an extremely negative impact on the detrimental effects on the species diversity in study area. Some effective ecological engineering cutting management measures were urgent to be taken to control and cleanup the Phyllostachys pubescens forest at present.In this study, Phyllostachys pubescens expansion speed was estimated based on the distribution of Phyllostachys pubescens forest in different times, which had been extracted from the remote sensing information. According to the community structure analysis, the difference between Phyllostachys pubescens forest community and other communities would be showed. Based upon the analysis of Phyllostachys pubescens forest community characteristics and the relationship between different advantages in Phyllostachys pubescens forest community, the eatures of Phyllostachys pubescens forest in the study area was analyzed. Comprehensive analysis would offer evidence for drawing up a wonderfully scientific and reasonable cutting project about how to protect key protection objects effectively. This study would promote sustainable development about the study area and provide practical experience for harvesting management reform.
