Adipose and muscle are important economic trait of pig, and they are also research focus of moleculer breeding. Pig is one of the first domesticated animal with the great difference in morphology, ethology, metabolism and other aspects. So we treat the pig as the model to research domestication, physiology and pathology. Adipose and muscle of domestic pig have already been discussed comprehensively, while the research for wild boar is rare. This study, we sequenced subcutaneous adipose tissue (SAT) and longissimus doris muscle (LDM) of Rongchang pig (RC) and Asian wild boars (WB) by RNA-seq. Combing the data identification of bioinformatics, we screen and deep analyz the mRNA transcription of each sequencing library. The results are as follows:A total of 574M (million) counts of sequenced sequences as raw reads were obtained from 12 libraries of SAT and LDM of RC and WB. Each library has an average 47.8 ± 4.57M of raw reads, and about 94.37% of the raw reads are high quality clean reads. Otherwise,75.25%-80.38% of the clean reads can mapped to the pig reference genome.We identified 19,021 reliable mRNA in the 12 libraries. There are 17,084 co-expressed mRNA in SAT of RC and WB,16,187 in LDM of RC and WB,16,396 in SAT and LDM of RC,16,486 in SAT and LDM of WB. The specific expressed mRNA is between 541 and 1,476.There are 1,235 differential expressed mRNA in SAT of RC and WB, and 361 in LDM of RC and WB.552 and 137 differential expressed mRNA are high expressed in SAT and LDM of RC, respectively.683 and 224 differential expressed mRNA are high expressed in SAT and LDM of WB, respectively. The 1,016 transcripts are known, and 219 are new in the 1,235 transcripts. The 257 transcripts are known, and 84 are new in the 361 transcripts.Further analysis for function found that the differential expressed mRNA of SAT of RC and WB are mainly enriched in immune metabolism, asthma, myofibril formation, catabolism of carbohydrate and other biological processes. And the differential expressed mRNA of LDM of RC and WB are mainly enriched in glycine, serine and threonine metabolism, glycometabolism, cytoskeleton formation and other biological processes.
