Salinization of soil every year is rising growth and become one of the major problems facing the world, reducing the cultivable land area, in order to make better use of soil salinization. At present one solution is planting salt plants. Alfalfa as an important forage, high yield, strong resistance, but under salt stress still hurt, inhibit its growth. In order to increase its resistance to salt, this experiment on 12 kinds of alfalfa salt resistance screening, respectively 75 mmol/L,150 mmol/L sodium sulfate solution and 225 mmol/L were salt stress, will be divided into moderate and non-tolerant varieties tolerant varieties into three groups, and then by growth under salinity conditions of three alfalfa sprayed with different concentrations of potassium sulfate (0 g/L,0.5 g/L,1 g/L,1.5 g/L), to observe whether there salt damage mitigation action. The results indicated that:1. Effect of salt stress on the physiological indices of alfalfaUnder salt stress, the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) is:Highly salt-tolerant species and moderately tolerant varieties increase of salt concentration, SOD activity was on the rise, salt-sensitive varieties when treated for 8 weeks with the salt concentration, SOD activity decreased. Proline content, whether or not salt tolerant varieties of species, with the salt concentration, proline content rise. Ratio of chlorophyll a/b with the salt concentration decreased. On cell membrane permeability with the salt concentration, relative conductivity does not change the law, but from the perspective of time salt stress, highly tolerant varieties and moderate salt stress tolerant varieties at four weeks, the relative conductance the maximum rate of salt stress 8 weeks, and reduced the relative conductivity. Sodium ion content with the salt stress concentration, the sodium ion content is gradually increased salt tolerance among different breeds more significant difference, this experiment is not tolerant varieties than tolerant varieties accumulated more sodium ions; also found that over time, the sodium ion content is also increasing. Effect of potassium ion content with the salt concentration increases, potassium content decreased, the longer the process, the potassium ion content is gradually reduced.2. Effects of spraying Potassium Sulfate on physiological indices of alfalfa under salt stressAfter growth under salt stress alfalfa foliar spraying Potassium Sulfate, potassium ion concentration, plants will inhibit the absorption of sodium ions, the sodium ion content of sodium ions is decreased, potassium ion content on the rise.To sum up, spraying of potassium sulfate can increase alfalfa body potassium content, reduced sodium content, so that the relative balance of the plant of sodium and potassium ions, the cells maintain normal metabolism, provide a reference for future research to improve plant salt tolerance means.
