Poyang Lake catfish (Silirus asotus Linnaeus) is a native of the Poyang Lake River Basin。With people’s understanding of the value of the catfish nutrition, the market demand is growing. But due to a serious shortage of supply of seed, which restricts the further development of Poyang Lake catfish aquaculture.Based on the project in Poyang Lake of catfish of the reproductive biology, parts of the varieties of artificial breeding and seed rearing technology were studied in order to establish Poyang Lake catfish breeding technology system, the main research results are as follows:1-. Poyang Lake catfish embryonic development;Through artificial insemination, at 18℃ to 26℃ conditions to observe the Poyang Lake catfish embryonic developmental process, embryonic development through seven stages, juveniles from the fertilized egg to hatching stripping is about 47.08 hours.2、Study on the application of microporous aeration technique in Poyang Lake catfish breeding;Through the comparison of 2 kinds of incubation methods, the results showed that the effect of micro aeration and micro-flow water was the best, and the average was 72%.3、Study on the cultivation of juvenile fish in the pondThe average length of 3.0cm in the rearing of juveniles fish to the cement pool, juvenile survival rate reached 72%. The juvenile fish was transferred to the area of 667m2 pond in pond in the largest number of rotifer. After 15d cultivation, fry the average length of 5.15mm, the number of juveniles fish totaling 11.25 million, the survival rate of 75%.4、Study on sensitivity of juvenile fish several commonly used drugs Setting up the chlorine fenpropathrin, phoxim, toluene MI, trichlorfon, Qianglujing, glutaraldehyde, benzalkonium bromide, potassium permanganate, poly povidone iodine 9 kinds of commonly used drugs 5 groups with different concentrations. The Cypermethrin, Phoxime and strong-chloride has lethal effect on juvenile catfish in Poyang Lake. The lowest concentration is:Cypermethrin>Qianglujing> phoxim. The biological safety concentration of three drugs on Poyang Lake catfish juveniles were 0.017mg/L,0.0384mg/L and 0.3072mg/L. Using toluene MI, glutaraldehyde. benzene tie bromide, potassium permanganate, poly povidone iodine and trichlorphon on Poyang Lake catfish juvenile fish high security.
