In this study, pseudorasbora parva was regarded as experimental object, and the effects of velocity, temperature and other environmental factors on oxygen consumption rate of the different sue pseudorasbora parva were researched.Experiments set up 5g, lOg and 15g three weight gradients, and as a basis to study the relationship between the oxygen consumption rate of pseudorasbora parva and the envi-ronmental factors like velocity, temperature and weight. According to the analysis of single factor experiment, when the velocity changed from 0.5 BL/s to 3 BL/s, the oxygen con-sumption rate of pseudorasbora parva rises gently, and it shows that in this velocity section, the respiratory metabolism rate of pseudorasbora parva is relatively stable, and it can also infer the optimal velocity of pseudorasbora parva is 0.5 BL/s-3 BL/s; When Velocity changed from 3.5 BL/s to 5.5 BL/s, oxygen consumption rate of pseudorasbora parva in-creases with the increase of velocity; when the velocity is greater than 6.0 BL/s, pseu-dorasbora parva entered the stage of physical fatigue, and the oxygen consumption rate rapidly decline. According to the experimental data, the relationship between the rate of oxygen consumption of pseudorasbora parva and the velocity: y=A2+(A1-A2)/(1+exp((x-xo)/dx)), including Ai=190.63673, includingA2=497.9236,Xo=4.81306,dx=0.82989,R2=0.8787. Un-der different velocity gradients, the oxygen consumption rate are significant difference (P< 0.05). Oxygen consumption rate of pseudorasbora parva were determined in 10℃,15℃, 20℃,25℃,30℃ and 35℃ six temperature gradients. The results show that oxygen con-sumption rate of pseudorasbora parva increases with the increase of temperature, the linear relationship between oxygen consumption rate and temperature is as follows:y=a+ b*x, R2=0.99904, and according to correlation analysis, the results related significantly (P<0.01).Based on 5g lOg and 15g three weight specifications of pseudorasbora parva, experiment results show that the relationship between the weight and theoxygen consump- tion rate can be expressed as y=473.01e-0.088x,R2=0.999, the exponential function correla-tion is extremely high, and it shows that oxygen consumption rate of pseudorasbora parva decreased with the increase of body weight. By the degree of oxygen consumption rate of pseudorasbora parva in response to environmental factors and fluctuation analysis shows that when the velocity is from 0.5BL/s to 4.5BL/s,oxygen consumption rate of pseu-dorasbora parva in response to velocity reach to a flat trend; temperature 10℃-30℃, the degree of oxygen consumption rate of pseudorasboraparva in response to the tempera-ture change is a gentle upward trend; along with weight gain, the degree of response and the range of oxygen consumption rate of pseudorasbora parva both show a downward trend, indicating that the velocity 0.5BL/s-4.5BL/s and temperature 10℃-30℃ are adaptable scope of environmental changes for pseudorasboraparva. In multifactor experiment, according to the influence of temperature and velocity on ox-ygen consumption rate of pseudorasbora parva, the results indicate in 5g, 10g and 15g three specification were extremely significant difference between the two temperature gradi-entswhen velocity changed from 0.5 BL/s to 0.5 BL/s, temperature plays a decisive role on the influence of the oxygen consumption rate of pseudorasbora parva; When velocity is greater than 3.0 BL/s, the oxygen consumption rate of 5g and 15g pseudorasboraparva is not significantly correlation(P>0.05) in different temperatures. the interaction of the veloc-ity and temperature, indicating that the stress response of pseudorasbora parva to velocity increase with the rise of temperature, namely when the temperature rise, pseudorasbora parva’ ability to overcomewater resistance reduced, and it further show that high tempera-ture make pseudorasbora parva’s swimming ability decline. By analysis how the specifica-tions and the velocity affect the oxygen consumption rate of pseudorasbora parva, found that when the velocity is low, the oxygen consumption rate of pseudorasbora parva were showed the differences of the weight specifications. When velocity is higher with low tem-perature condition, the oxygen consumption rate of 10g and 15g pseudorasbora parva have the interaction between the velocity and weight, as the temperature increases, the in-teraction declines between the oxygen consumption rate of pseudorasbora parva and their weight in two different kinds specifications and it shows significant differences. The oxy-gen consumption rate of 5g and 15g pseudorasboraparva thave no interaction between the velocity and their weight, when temperature increases, the interaction became strong. Ex-periments show that with the rise of temperature, velocity factor has a gradually increasing influence on the oxygen consumption rate of small sizes pseudorasbora parva, however with the rise of temperature, weight factor has a gradually increasing influence on the oxy-gen consumption rate of large sizes. The cause of this phenomenon may be associated with the fish body.In this paper, by using intermittent breathing measurement method to research how the velocity, temperature and weight affect the oxygen consumption rate of pseudorasbora parva, aimed at further mastering the metabolism of pseudorasbora parva and its stress re-sponse to environmental factors, at the same time to provide theoretical support for aqua-culture production of pseudorasbora parva, its environmental conditions and its transporta-tion, it also provide methods and technology support for studying other fishes’oxygen consumption rate and the energy requirements. In addition, it pave the way for the system-atic study the oxygen consumption rate of fish in response to environmental factors, and promote the research the theory of velocity and metabolism and improve water aquaculture production process.
