In this study, the original seed of potatoe variety Favorita were taken as the research object that are fumigated with ethephon (ETH), ethyl acetate (EA), ethanol (ET) of different volumes, concentrations, without any treatment for the control (CK), to 5mg/L of GA3 soaking 5min treated as a positive control (CK+). Determinating regularly original seed potatoes germination rate, starch content, activity, etc, which were measured to study the different reagent original seed potato break dormancy in order to provide a reference for potato cultivation planting, the results showed that:ETH,120-280mL/m3 are able to break the original seed dormancy early potatoes, significantly improve the conversion of starch and sugar, reduce MDA content, improve potato catalase activity and a-amylase activity, with the ETH volume concentration increasing, the corresponding potato production increase, which 120mL/m3 is the best results to break dormancy, germination time earlier than CK 15d, germination rate increase 6.2%, the initial germination time and germination rate than CK+was not significant, rotten potato rate the basical same as CK, and on the 45d, average bud length, bud width longer 0.7cm and 0.3mm than CK. yield per plant than CK improve 8.2g.With EA concentration increasing, the more likely to break dormancy early, but rotten potato is also a corresponding increase. EA can promote starch, sugar conversion in the rate of low concentration and high concentration, which 500ml/m3,800 ml/m3 of EA is better than CK, the beginning of germination time ahead of 15d, original germination rates were increased than CK by 2.5%,4.2%, rotten potato greater than CK, on the 45d, average bud length, bud width of 500ml/m3,800 ml/m3 of EA are greater than CK 1.7cm and 3.1cm, the storage period starch content increased by 9.1%,9.6%, reducing sugar content decreased 0.50%,0.46%, were higher than the control group, MDA decreased 2.85 umol/g,2.76 umol/g, the value of between CK and CK+, catalase activity increased 2.76 mgH2O2/g.min,2.76 mgH2O2/g·min than the control group, a-amylase activity were increased 10.98U,10.94U are greater than in the control group, improved yield per plant than CK 5.5g,3.3g.High concentration of ET will inhibit the germination of potato, with the increasing concentration of ET, rotten potato is also a corresponding increase, moderate concentrations of ET can promote starch, sugar conversion, the overall effect of which 500ml/m3 is best to break dormancy early, the original germination time earlier than CK 15d, original germination rate was increased compared with 4.2% in the 45d, compared with CK mean shoot length 3.3cm, the values of average shoot wide 1.5mm and 1.4mm are substantially equal as CK, rotten potato greater than CK, throughout the storage period, starch, sugar content increases and reduce the magnitude of 9.0%,0.69%, were higher than the control group, MDA decreased 3.69 umol/g, the value of between CK and CK+room. Catalase activity increased 2.78 mgH2O2/g·min, than the CK and CK+. a-amylase activity increased 9.54U value greater than CK, increase the yield per plant than CK 4.4g.In summary,120mL/m3 ETH,800mL/m3EA,500 mL/m3ET to seed germination and seedling of original seed potatoes have good results, which are contribute to early planting of original seed potatoes, increase season production, improve seed quality and yield.
