| Cylinder hill sowing techniques have been widely applied at home and abroad, especially such as soybean, corn, peanut and other large size of the seeds. These techniques of large-size seeds are maturing and put into agricultural production, but seeding planters for rapeseed and other small diameter are less.Cylinder hill seeding device is a key component of a planter. Its four work process generally includes filling seeds, clearing seeds, and pushing seeds. The research object of this paper is cylinder hill seeding metering device for rapeseed. The aims are best sowing uniformity, lower seed damage rate and better adaptability. In order word is to overcome seed damage, seed loss and non-uniformity of seed distribution. Then a cylinder hill seeding device for rapeseed was designed, manufactured and verified under laboratory and field conditions. Results of the experiments indicate that this seeding device could effectively resolve the seed damage and shaped hole blocking problems inherited in cylinder seeding devices. The software used to draw it reveal that it can be manufactured for more than six(6) rows also with the help of another software that can simulate the design(EDEMS) This seeding device could plant six(6) rows got one time. This design is meant to minimize the damage. Its can plant six(6) tubes accurately, and can design more rows according to the requirements of agriculture. This seeding device can meet the needs of high speed planting, test stand camera is use to determine the delayed of seed from the planter to the seed bed and provide a new method of planting to improve the efficiency of metering device. The research content is areas follows:(1) Systematically analysed the status and the development of rapeseed seeding device status of different home. On this basis, the cylinder hill seeding device was determined. According to the work environment, agronomic requirements and dynamic analysis results, the basic parameters of the key parts of the cylinder hill seeding device are mentioned, such as the cylinder, cleaning material and retaining device and the overall programs were determined. the dynamic analysis of the repose angle revealed that increase in seed hole diameter could improve the cylinder.(2) Physical and mechanical properties of rapeseed studies were carried out. The three- axis size of the rapeseed, spherical degree, moisture content, grain weight, test weight and sliding friction characteristics were studied. And also the speed of the cylinder(RS) this analysis of the compression strength and other cylindrical properties, provided a basis to the parameter designed.(3) The main structural of the cylinder hill seeding device was designed and the working principle and process of the device were introduced. The main working procedure of the cylindrical analysis was done. The key component of the design parameter which affecting the seeding performance factors was analysed. The seeding device work movement during the process of rapeseed was studied, accordingly, and to correlate the theory with some factors affecting the seed damage, delayed of dropping seed were also critically analysed. ANSYS-CFX software can also be used for further study, and a corresponding mathematical model was built. According to the experiment, when the rotating speed was 14.5r/min, the diameter of seeding holes is 4.5mm, the inclination degree of seeding holes is 18° the delivery coefficient of variation is 2.40%, the seeding uniformity coefficient of variation is 19.2%, and the damage rate is 0.36%.(4) Design of a combined cylinder rape planter and experiment in the field, based on the experiment of cylinder hill seeding device, a combined cylindrical rape planter was manufactured, and seeding test was finished in the field.
