Rumen Degradation Characteristics Of Commonly Used Feed For Qinchuan Beef Cattle

Qinchuan beef cattle is formed in our country on the basis of qinchuan cattle breeding improved meat new strains, it inherited the characteristics of local cattle breeds resistance of forage in China, good meat traits at the same time. This study selects three head fitted with permanent rumen fistula of qinchuan beef cattle(bulls), using the nylon bag method of commonly used evaluation qinchuan beef cattle feed dry matter(DM), organic matter(OM),crude protein(CP), neutral detergent fiber(NDF) and acid detergent fiber(ADF) of rumen degradation rate and effective rate of degradation. Through a system of measurement difference of different feed composition, uses the rumen nylon bag method to calculate the rumen fermentation characteristics of different kinds of feed, it is concluded that the components of fermentation parameter and rumen degradation rate effectively, in order to provide reasonable collocation of qinchuan beef cattle fodder scientific theory support.This study concludes that the following results:1. The energy feed corn in the organic matter content is higher than bran, protein feed in the crude protein content of soybean meal is highest, followed by cottonseed pulp, and at last the rapeseed meal. For qinchuan beef cattle, 5 kinds of concentrate in the rumen degradation rate began to drop, after 24 h of degradation rate began to stabilize. Different kinds of concentrated feed raw materials in the rumen effective degradation rate is different. The DM in the rumen digestion rate effectively bran > corn > soyabean meal > cottonseed meal >rapeseed meal. OM rumen degradation rate effectively in the order: corn >bran > soybean meal, the difference between feed significantly(P<0.05), while cottonseed meal and rapeseed meal are the lowest, no significant difference between them(P>0.05). The highest effective degradation rate of CP bran, corn, the difference between feed significantly(P < 0.05).Cottonseed meal and rapeseed meal are higher than soybean meal, they were similar(P>0.05). For energy feed, CP effective degradation rate is higher than corn bran, effective degradation rate of DM and OM is similar. Protein feed, soyabean meal DM and OM effective degradation rate were higher than cottonseed meal and rapeseed meal, but the CP is not. The cottonseed meal and rapeseed meal effective digestibility of DM, OM, CP were similar.2. Different kinds of roughage, its nutrient composition differences apparent, alfalfa,distillers’ grains and folium mori were high CP content, while the rest of various feed NDF content is higher. For corn silage and the comparative analysis of corn straw, silage can reduce the content of NDF and ADF and effectively improve the quality of the feed. Through the analysis of the eight kinds of feed, the majority of roughage DM, CP, NDF and ADF of degradation rate basically stable within 24 h. The individual NDF content high feed to stabilize within 48 h. Different varieties of roughage rumen degradation characteristics are different. The apple residue, folium mori and alfalfa DM effective digestion rate is highest,were significantly higher than that of in turn reduce distillers’ grains, corn silage, spent mushroom substrate, Corn straw and wheat straw(P<0.05). CP effective degradation rate of alfalfa>folium mori>corn silage>apple residue>spent mushroom substrate>distillers’ grains>wheat straw>corn straw. NDF effective degradation rate of apple residue>distillers’ grains>folium mori>corn silage>alfalfa>wheat straw>corn straw>spent mushroom substrate, the difference between roughage significantly. Apple residue of ADF effective degradation rate is significantly higher than other roughage(P < 0.05), corn straw, wheat straw and distillers’ grains ADF effective degradation rate is low. For qinchuan beef cattle,alfalfa, folium mori and corn silage of forage value is relative taller, corn straw and wheat straw forage value is relatively low. In order to improve the feed utilization rate, we suggest that corn straw and wheat straw for silage fermentation.
