Botanical pesticides have become one of the main developing directions of new pesticide, because of characteristics concluding high selectivity, being not easy to produce resistance, low toxicity, safety on non-target organisms, various modes of action, diverse active ingredients, development approaches and so on. The excellent insecticidal activity of Cephalotaxus sinensis extractive had been found by Research & Development Center of Biorational Pesticide, Northwest A&F University, and pesticide invention patent had been obtained(ZL201310049067). The control effect of the extractive of Cephalotaxus sinensis for pest is not clear, its application technology is also not clear. This test invent preliminary promising botanical pesticides taking Cephalotaxus sinensis as materials, at the same time, do field efficacy trials about controlling P.xylostella systematically, which lay the foundation for development and application. The main results are as follows:(1) By taking leaf immersion as method, We take a study on toxic effect of extracts Cephalotaxus sinensis from against 3rd larva of P.xylostella. The results show that stomach action of Chcoch extracts is the strongest activity, toxic activity of 24h、48h、72h are 56.67%、63.33%、72.00%;(2)Developed 0.8% Cephalotaxus sinensis alkaloids EC and finished pesticide products quality standards, which is 15%Tween80+13%Terpinen-4-ol+20% extractive of Cephalotaxus sinensis +ethyl alcohol absolute(reach100%)(3) The toxicity of 0.8% Cephalotaxus sinensis alkaloids EC against 4rd larva of P.Xylostella are 55.91mg/L within 24 h,30.12mg/L within 48 h(4)0.8% Cephalotaxus sinensis alkaloids EC was tested in fields against P.xylostella.The results indicated that 0.8% Cephalotaxus sinensis alkaloids EC had high Insecticidal activity, and the effect were about 73.8% within 7 days.In summary, 0.8% Cephalotaxus sinensis alkaloids EC have contact activity, and have potential and practical value these results have theoretical significance in developing new products for Insecticidal...
