The greenhouse effect causes global warming, while reducing the temperature difference with the marine ecosystem, causing urban haze weather, threats the health of human beings directly. The soil carbon pool is rich, and have active interaction with the atmosphere, which is the largest greenhouse gas carbon sink and carbon source.By circulation between systems,Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium elements have an impact on carbon sequestration capacity of ecosystems.Through sampling on soil profiles of four different stands(trees, shrubs, wasteland and farmland) and analyzed the soil organic carbon content and density, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium content we conducted a research on differences of how different stand types, stand density and stand age affect these soil indexs. The result shows:1 different stand types have significant effects on soil organic cabon and total nitrogen content in surface soil. The effect of trees (5.70g·kg-1,1.58 g·kg-1) is significantly higher than shrubs(4.03g·kg-1,0.90 g·kg-1). wasteland (3.31g·kg-1,0.55 g·kg-1)and farmland(3.85g·kg-1, 0.62 g·kg-1), the significance decreased with soil depth increasing, while has no significant effect on soil total phosphorus, total potassium content.2 Stand density, stand age have significant effects on soil organic cabon and total nitrogen content in the surface soil, and have no significant effect on soil total phosphorus, total potassium content.3 soil organic caobon content is strongly correlated to total nitrogen content in all of the soil layers of Pinus tabulaeformis, Robinia pseudoacacia L., Populus davidiana, Platycladus orientalis, the R2 is 0.89 in 0-5cm soil layer and also strongly correlated to total phosphorus content in 0-5cm soil layer, and there was no significant correlation between organic carbon content and total potassium content. This study shows that afforestation needs to consider stand type, stand density, stand age if it is aimed to sequestrate carbon.
