Weeds have a great effect on Ramie, especially on the new plant Ramie. The weeds control and elimination is an important section in Ramine planting. And we have known that Ramie is sensitive to chemical herbicide and the chemical herbicide may insults in the stock senescence of Ramie, while the correlation study between Ramie and different concentration of chemical herbicide is really poor. The study is conducting in Hunan Agricultural University YunYuan teaching experimental base of National Hemp Industry Technology System. In order to make clear the effacts of Glyphosate herbicide on growth and physiological property of Ramie and the different resistances to Glyphosate herbicide of different varieties, we have respectively sprayed different concentration of Glyphosate herbicide on "Tri-1", "Zhong Zhu-1" and "XiangZhu-3". Our goal is providing a basis for the scientific application of chemical herbicide. An outside field was separated into several different sections to conduct the study; six concentration gradients of Glyphosate herbicide and one negative control were set in this study. The main results of the study are:(1) with the treatment of sprayed in low concentration (< 0.1 g/m2) of glyphosate herbicide:there are no significant differences compared with controls about the root activity, root catalase activity, growth rate, SPAD value of "Tri-1", "Zhong Zhu-1" and " XiangZhu-3". And every indicator of "Tri-1" was improved when compared with the control. The productions of all three varieties were higher than the control, increasing about 35-2496 kg/hm2, and "Tri-1" was the most significant one among them.(2) with the treatment of sprayed in middle concentration (0.1-0.2g/m2) of glyphosate herbicide:the root activity, growth rate, SPAD value of all three varieties decreased significantly than the control, while root catalase activity increased significantly than the control. XiangZhu-3 owned the most significant fall of the growth rate, about 59.4% compared with the control. The production of all three varieties under the treatment of sprayed in middle concentration were decreasing than the control, decreasing about 273-1618 kg/hm2, among them "XiangZhu-3" was the most significant.(3) with the treatment of sprayed in high concentration (0.2-0.3g/m2) of Glyphosate herbicide, the root activity, growth rate, SPAD value of all three varieties decreased significantly than the control, while the root catalase activity increased significantly than the control, among them the growth rate of "Zhong Zhu-1" fell by the most significant, about 76.5% compared with the control. The production of all three varieties under the treatment of sprayed in high concentration were decreasing than the control, decreasing about 873-2113 kg/hm2, among them "XiangZhu-3" was the most significant one. "XiangZhu-3" was affected badly in almost every indicator and even showed signs of stop growing. All in all, there are different effects of glyphosate herbicide on different ramie varieties. When in low concentration of glyphosate herbicide (<0.1g/m2), the growth and development of ramie was promoted, such as "Tri-1". But in high glyphosate herbicide concentration (>0.2g/m2), ramie growth was restrained, and with the increase of concentration of glyphosate herbicide, the inhibition effect increases as well, and finally leads to growth inhibition and die. Moreover, the effect of glyphosate herbicide is more significant on "XiangZhu-3" than on the other two varieties. Considering synthetically, the ability of glyphosate resistance of the three ramie varieties is:Tri-1> Zhong Zhu-1> XiangZhu-3.
