This study is a fundamental investigation about Alxa Bactrian camel’s vaginal myiasis, it consists of three parts:1 to find the blood cell which has relationship with Alxa Bactrian camel vaginal myiasis by analyzing the change of the blood cell content in infected camels; 2 to explore the relationship between the myiasis and the cytokines (IL-4、IL-10、IFN-γ、 IL-2) of the camels which have artificial infection; 3 Bactrian camel blood cell morphology and the morphological observation on vaginal tissue.First part. Select camels from Alxa Left Banner, Alxa Right Banner, Otog Banner and Sunit Right Banner, and blood random. There is no significant difference between the blood cell of illness group and that of healthy group in various areas (P>0.05). But, we contrast the blood cell base on illness group from different areas by two, we find that there are more significant differences than that on healthy group. And, the content of neutrophils and monocytes in illness group is little higher than that in healthy group.Second part. We choose six 12-year-old healthy female camels, three are as experiment group and anothers are as control group. The experimental period is 14 days and it is divided into three parts, the first period-FP (before the treat), the second period-SP (during the treat), the third period-TP (after landing maggots), serum was obtained from the blood every day. In the fourth day, infected the experiment camels with maggots. Compared with control group’s FP and the experiment group’s, there is no significant difference among the four cytokines (P>0.05); except the IL-4 and IL-2, the IL-10 and IFN-γ content of the experiment group’s are significantly higher than the control group’s (P<0.05) in the SP. In the TP, the experiment group has lower IL-4 content and higher IFN-γ content (P<0.05). In the three periods of the control group, there is on significant difference about the four cytokines. Both the IL-10 content and the IFN-γ content in the experiment group’s FP are significant higher than that of the control group’s (P<0.05). The experiment group’s IL-4 content doesn’t have a significant change in the three periods (P>0.05). The control group’s IL-2 content in SP and TP is significant higher than that in FP (P<0.05).Third part. The microvilli side of vulva tissue of healthy camel is undamaged, only with few free cells. But that of sick camel’s niduses or the tissue around the niduses is damaged, with more free cells. There are more hyperplasia and lymphocytic infiltration in the niduses.Conclusion:The Bactrian camel blood physiological parameters have regional impact, there are some differences in myiasis Bactrian camel, but no significant difference. Vaginal myiasis can cause significantly increased IL-10 and IFN-y content in the Bactrian camel’s peripheral serum and the IL-2 has a potentially increase, and have no effect on IL-4 content. The niduses have more damage, hyperplasia and lymphocytic infiltration than the healthy tissues.
