It is difficult to complete the breakthroughs in the production for traditional breeding technology, and it hindered the development of agriculture in our country. Breeding automation equipment of high flux is one of the key equipment in improving crop variety selection, speed up the breeding efficiency and shorten the breeding cycle. It is in urgent need to develop the breeding advanced automation equipment in our country to compete with the international seed industry companies. The subject comes from the sub-project of the Strategic Technology Pilot projects of CAS. The sub-project "crop seed laser cutting and DNA rapid extraction technology". The seed sampling automation equipment was designed in this paper, and much work has been done, including the air-suction seed metering device adsorption and adsorption performance optimization, modal analysis and optimization, precision analysis of the whole framework, etc.1. Designed the working process of the crop seed sampling automation equipment according to the basic principles of molecular breeding. Completed the mechanical structure design of the sampling equipment on the basis of the working process. SolidWorks was used to build three-dimensional model and the structure of key parts of the sampling equipment.2. ANSYS Workbench was used in simulation for the flow field of air-suction seeder with soybean. Four factors, which affect the suction nozzle adsorption force in the molecular breeding machine, were simulated and experimented by using the orthogonal experimental method. Modal analysis was carried out in this paper for the whole framework to optimize and improve the sampling equipment.3. For accuracy requirement of the sampling equipment, the multi-rigid-body dynamic simulation analysis and rigid-flexible coupling simulation were carried out with ADAMS for the whole framework and grab mechanism. The result showed that the X-directional movement and Y-movement of the whole framework could meet the job requirements.The experimental prototype designed is significative to the follow-up research and development on seeds laser cutting and rapid DNA extraction equipment.
