Cleaning device is one of the core components of corn seeds thresher, which cleaning performance is an important factor that affects the overall performance of corn seeds thresher, thereby affecting the development of seed production and processing industry. By way of consulting the relevant papers and documents, the paper introduces the research status about seeds cleaning devices. Compared the characteristics of various cleaning devices, the inhaled wind screen cleaning device was selected as the cleaning device of corn seeds thresher, and carried out research and experimental design study, optimizing the structure and motion parameters.In order to verify the performance of the selected cleaning device, orthogonal experiment, single factor experiment,optimal scheme repeated trial and comparative experiment were designed. The main factors which influence the orthogonal experiment were determined. The conclusion we can draw as follow after recording and analyzing the experiment data.Ⅰ. The optimal combination plan of cleaning device is:crank radius is 15mm, crank speed is 280r/min, fan outlet area is small, fan speed is 2000r/min.Ⅱ. Crank radius has a prominent effect on working performance of cleaning device, crank speed takes second place, fan outlet areas has a least effect among the three factors.Ⅲ. The result of single factor experiment and optimal scheme repeated trial are in the 90% confidence interval, which is credible.Ⅳ. The result of comparative experiment verifies that the increased hairdryer will improve the performance of cleaning device.Ⅴ. The design of cleaning device in this paper is rational, its work performance is stable, and the experiment result is ideal.
