Forest ecosystem plays an important role in global carbon cycle and balance. Shrub forest is the main part of the forest ecological system. The research on its carbon storage is the foundation to accurately estimate carbon library and carbon flux of forest ecosystem. The study uses main shrub Siberian Apricot, Ostryopsis Decne and Caragana Korshinskii Kom in Xinganmeng of eastern Inner Mongolia as the research object. First of all. I understand the biomass allocation patterns of shrub. And then I discuss the ssue on the value of carbon content in shrub forest through the measured data of carbon content in various organs of shrub. On the basis of this study, I research the establishment of the model of aboveground carbon storage of shrub forest. The results show:1. Estimating the biomass distribution of the shrub organ at the individual level. The biomass of the leaves, branches and roots of shrubs accounted for 10%~20%,30%~ 75% and 25%~60% of the biomass of the tree species; The shoot ratio of shrub root varies greatly.2. Research on the value of carbon content of natural Siberian Apricot, artificial Siberian Apricot, artificial Caragana Korshinskii Kom,and Ostryopsis Decne.Ths carbon content and carbon content in the root of all shrubs were significantly different. The differences among the same organs of different tree species were small. And the value of carbon content of root the ground and root of the ground were 0.45 gC·g-1 and 0.42 gC·g-1 respectively.3. The carbon content’s regression model of natural Siberian Apricot, artificial Siberian Apricot, artificial Caragana Korshinskii Kom, and Ostryopsis Decne is mainly power function, linear and exponential model. The RS of test indexes was less than 30%. Its RMA is less than 20%.The fitting precision is higher than 70%. The predicted regression model can be used to estimate the aboveground carbon storage.
