Rice is one of most important crops in China, and also deeply favoured by Chinese. As environment pollution goes seriously, population increases explosively, and land degrades rapidly, much more attentions are focused on the yield and quality of rice these years. The proposed theory of ideal plant architecture gives significant guidance on high yield and good quality in rice breeding. As one part of the ideal plant architecture, the flag leaf angle is very closely related to yield in rice production. All of 132 recombinant inbred lines (RILs) were constructed from maternal photo-thermo sensitive male sterile (PTGMS) line Pei’ai 64s (PA64s) crossed with paternal super indica variety 93-11. Flag leaf angle and yield per plant were investigated at Lingshui and Fuyang in 2014. Result shows:(1)QTL analysis identified 41 QTLs. for flag leaf angle, among which 5 QTLs detected in both sites, counting for 12.2% total number. Total of 12 and 17 novel QTLs were detected for flag leaf angle detected in Lingshui and Fuyang, respectively. Additive effects of most QTLs come from PA64s. And 15 unreported QTLs of yield per plant were detected in both sites, the additive effects of lager contribution rate mostly from 93-11.(2) In QTLs of flag leaf angle are detected at both sites, besides the Lingshui qFLA2.1 and Fuyang qFLA2.1, QTLs of the genetic location between 4.4 cM-5.1 cM on chromosome 2, has a smaller contribution rate, while the contribution rate of QTLs in the remaining four location is bigger, which shows the QTLs has larger effect in different environment not easily affected by environment.(3)On chromosome 2, QTLs of flag leaf angle are detected in the same interval of 109.5 cM~112.9 cM in Fuyang and Lingshui, qFLA2.3 and qFLA2.2, their contribution rate of phenotypic interpretation are biggest,7.56% and 9.4% respectively, and their additive effect both from PA64s.(4) Two QTL cluster were detected, controlling the flag leaf angle and the yield at the same time. One of which is located on chromosome 6, and additive effect of two QTLs both come from the 93-11, indicate that the correlation between yield and flag leaf angle; The other cluster is located on chromosome 12, and additive effect of one qtl controlling the flag leaf angle come from PA64s, while the additive effect of the other one controlling the yield from the 93-11. Respectively, the contribution rate are 4.66% and 7.97%.
