The growth traits and quality traits of 4 years Eucalyptus grandis provenances and families were surveyed in Nankang district Jiangxi Province, Lianshan county Guangdong Province, Jinggu county Yunnan Province three experimental fieldes. Superior provenances and families were selected, and analysis the results of three experimental fields were as follows.Variance analysis result:in Nankang district Jiangxi Province, the DBH had no differences among provenances and families, the crown had no differences among provenances.In Lianshan county Guangdong Province and Jinggu county Yunnan Province, all traits had differences among provenances and families.The result of provenances and families multiple comparison:the performance of growth traits of provenances and families in three experimental fields were similar, the performance of quality traits were much difference.The result of variation and repeatability of assessed:in Nankang district Jiangxi Province, the largest of phenotypic variation coefficient was crown,it was 58.54%, the level of other traits were between 22.51%-34.36%, the largest of genetic variation coefficient was crown, it was 54.13%, the lowest was stem form,it was 14.02%, the largest of heritability was crown, it was 0.62, the heritability of DBH, height,stem form,branch and crown were 0.24,0.44,0.61 and 0.57. In Lianshan county Guangdong Province, the largest of phenotypic variation coefficient was crown,it was 45.8%, the lowest was branch,it was 15.26%; the largest of genetic variation coefficient was crown, it was 42.96%, the lowest was branch,it was 14.70%; the largest of heritability was height,it was 0.91, the level of other traits were between 0.56-0.76. In Jinggu county Yunnan Province, the largest of phenotypic variation coefficient was crown, it was 39.93%, the lowest was height, it was 25.28%, the largest of genetic variation coefficient was crown, it was 35.07%, the lowest were stem form and branch, they were 13.04%, the largest of heritability was crown, it was 0.95, the level of other traits were about 0.9.The correlation analysis of the three experimental fields:in Nankang district Jiangxi Province, branch and crown had no correlation, the other traits were significant positive correlation. In Lianshan county Guangdong Province, branch and height had no correlation, branch and crown had little negative correlation, other traits were significant positive correlation. In Jinggu county Yunnan Province, stem form and crown, branch and crown had little negative correlation, other traits were significant positive correlation.Selected the superior provenances and superior families from three experimental fields: in Nankang district Jiangxi Province, selected provenances No.1, No.10, No.12,No.13 were superior provenances, No.125, No.270, No.262, No.51 et 17 families were superior families. In Lianshan county Guangdong Province, selected provenances No.3, No.2, No.5, No.1 were superior provenances, No.2, No.269, No.93, No.260 et 17 families were superior families. In Jinggu county Yunnan Province, selected provenances No.12, No.11, No.2, No.9 were superior provenances, No.107, No.94, No.113, No.78 et 13 families were superior families.Comprehensive contrast analysis the results of three experimental fields:the growth traits of Eucalyptus grandis from Nankang district Jiangxi Province was much less than the growth traits from Lianshan county Guangdong Province and Jinggu county Yunnan Province,the quality traits was slighty less than the other two experimental fields.The performance of traits in different experimental fields were large difference.The phenotypic variation coefficient and genetic variation coefficient in three experimental fields were in consistent.The heritability of traits in Nankang district Jiangxi Province and Lianshan county Guangdong Province were in consistent. most of traits heritability was between 0.5-0.7, The heritability of all traits in Jinggu county Yunnan Province were about 0.9.The superior provenances in Lianshan county Guangdong Province and Jinggu county Yunnan Province was the same, all were provenances No.3, No.2, No.5, No.1, comprehensive contrast analysised the seleceted superior provenance and families in three experimental fields, there were large difference among three experimental fields, few provenance and family was coincidence.
