Plateau pika(Ochotona curzoniae) is an endemic small mammal inhabits the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, the plateau pika play an important role in maintaining the health of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, but the relationship between the plateau pika and alpine meadow plant and soil is not known. This study investigated whether the plateau pika disturbance is correlated with the alpine meadow plant community characteristic, plant species characteristic, plant nutrient and soil nutrient, in order to provide scientific basis for plateau pika effect alpine meadow evolution direction. The main conclusions are:1 Clarified the relationship between plateau pika disturbance and the plants community characteristic in alpine meadowThe plant community cover, plant richness diversity index and diversity index were significant positive quadratic correlated with plateau pika disturbance in alpine meadow, the plant community cover, plant richness diversity index and diversity index first increased and then decreased with the increasing of plateau pika disturbance levels. The toxic plant biomass was significant negative quadratic correlated with plateau pika, the toxic plant biomass first decreased and then increased with the increasing of plateau pika disturbance levels. The plateau pika disturbance showed no significant relationship with plant community height, total plant biomass and plant evenness index in alpine meadow.2 Illuminated the relationship between plateau pika disturbance and plants species characteristic in alpine meadowThe plateau pika disturbance significant positive quadratic correlated with the important value of Kobresia pygmaea, niche breadth of Kobresia pygmaea and Elymus nutans in alpine meadow, with the increasing of plateau pika disturbance levels, the important value of Kobresia pygmaea, the niche breadth of Kobresia pygmaea and Elymus nutans increased firstly and then decreased. The plateau pika disturbance significant quadratic correlated with the important value of Anemone rivularis in alpine meadow, with the increasing of plateau pika disturbance levels, the important value of Anemone rivularis first decreased and then increased. The plateau pika disturbance showed no significant relationship with the important value of Elymus nutans and the niche breadth of Anemone rivularis in alpine meadow;3 Confirmed the relationship between plateau pika disturbance and the leaf nutrient content of dominant plants in alpine meadowThe plateau pika disturbance significant positive quadratic correlated with the phosphorus content in Kobresia pygmaea leaf, the nitrogen content in Elymus nutans and Anemone rivularis leaf, with the increasing of plateau pika disturbance level, the phosphorus content in Kobresia pygmaea leaf, the nitrogen content in Elymus nutans and Anemone rivularis leaf first increased and then decreased. The plateau pika disturbance showed significant positive linear correlated with the content of phosphorus in Anemone rivularis leaf; The plateau pika disturbance showed no significant relationship with the carbon, nitrogen, potassium content in Kobresia pygmaea leaf, and carbon, phosphorus, potassium content in Elymus nutans leaf, and carbon, potassium content in Anemone rivularis leaf.4 Claritied the relationship between plateau pika disturbance and soil nutrient content in alpine meadowThe plateau pika disturbance significant negative linear correlated with soil organic carbon content at a depth of 0-10 cm in alpine meadow. The plateau pika disturbance significant quadratic correlated with soil total nitrogen content at a depth of 0-10 cm and 10-20 cm in alpine meadow, with the increasing of plateau pika disturbance level, the total soil nitrogen first increased and then decreased. The plateau pika disturbance showed no significant correlation with soil total phosphorus, total potassium, available phosphorus, available potassium at a depth of 0-10 cm in alpine meadow. The plateau pika disturbance showed no siginificant relationship with soil organic carbon, total phosphorus, total potassium, available phosphorus, and available potassium at a depth of 10-20 cm in alpine meadow.5 Established the vegetation and soil coupling model under the disturb of plateau pika in alpine meadowAccording to the relationship between plateau pika disturbance and vegetation and soil indicators, determined the weight vector of vegetation and soil indicators, established the two level evaluation indicator of vegetation and soil coupling in alpine meadow ecosystem, finally built the vegetation-soil coupling model based on the vegetation comprehensive evaluation function and soil comprehensive evaluation function that respectively have thirteen and twelve indicators, ultimately evaluated the coupling between vegetation and soil under the disturb of plateau pika in alpine meadow, the result showed the coupling between vegetation and soil higher which the active burrow density of plateau pika reached at 20-39 numbers/625m2, indicate that under this density, the plant grow and soil environment keep in a good condition, showed that a suitable active burrow density of plateau pika benefits the coordinated development of vegetation and soil in alpine meadow ecosystem.
