With the development of science and technology, more and more advanced technology has been applied to the field of livestock and poultry breeding, which improved the intelligent management of farms. China is a big country of pig breeding, but the breeding level is still relatively low, and it is developing towards the trend of large-scale and intensive. The daily management of large-scale pig farm is also becoming more and more complicated. In order to improve the level of pig breeding and adapt to the current development situation of the large-scale farming, an environmental control system for pig farm based on mobile sink routing algorithm was designed. This system involves embedded technology, wireless sensor network technology, database technology and others.In order to realize the systematic management of all kinds of equipment in pig farm, the environmental sensors(such as temperature, humidity) and equipment(such as negative pressure fan, hot blast furnace, water valves) were built into a wireless network by Zig Bee technology.And the network can communicate with the field controller through a serial port. Using the Linux operating system and ARM11-tiny6410 development board to build the software and hardware platform of the field controller. SQLite database is transplanted to the platform to achieve the storage and management of the information of pig farm. Transplanting Boa to tiny6410 and designing CGI interface program to build the WEB server of the system. It implements the remote management mode of the B/S architecture. The field controller connects to the Internet by WiFi. Binding domain and IP address by domain name resolution technology to realize the access to the field controller, and achieving the remote monitoring and management of pig farm. In addition, using V4L2 application programming interface to capture video information, building a video server by ffmpeg and ffserver to achieve the real-time video surveillance of daily activities of pigs.In order to reduce the energy consumption of the wireless sensor network, balance the load of the network, prolong the life of the network, the routing algorithm was studied in this paper,and an energy optimized routing algorithm based on mobile sink was proposed. The algorithm introduces a mobile sink and draws the excellent side of the LEACH. The network operational cycle in the algorithm is divided into clustering phase and data transmission phase. In theclustering stage, cluster heads are selected by an optimal threshold, and constructing the network.During the data transmission phase, the sink moves in the network, and the cluster heads communicate with the sink by multi-hop method.Experimental results show that this system can be timely and accurate obtain the environmental information of pig farm, and it is able to observe the living conditions of pigs in real time. And it can automatically control the equipment in the pig farm and realize the regulation of piggery environmental, it ensures that the pigs can grow in a comfortable and stable environment. Compared with the traditional management mode, the system can reduce the wiring of the pig farm, increase the precision of environment control, save manpower and save the cost of farming, and it is very suitable for application in nursing pigsty which need higher environmental requirement. It provides a better monitoring and management program for large-scale pig farm and it has wide application prospect in breeding industry.
