The agronomic traits and SSR molecular marker on 180 accessions of tartary buckwheat were studied and analyzed, in order to guide for tartay buckwheat breeding. The main results are as follows:1. Analysis on agronomic traits: To breed high-yield tartary buckwheat varieties with thin shell, eight key agronomic traits on 180 tartary buckwheat accessions were evaluated by using the statistical methods such as simple and partial correlation analysis and path analysis. The results showed that the variation coefficients of eight main agronomic traits ranged from 8.10% to 39.40%. Simple correlation analysis indicated that grain weight per plant(GW) was positively correlated with grain number per plant(GN), and number of primary branches(PBN). Partial correlation analysis showed that GW was positively correlated with GN and 1000-grain weight(TGW). Multiple stepwise regression and path analysis indicated that GN(x1) and TGW(x2) were the main factors greatly affecting on GW(y),their linear regression equation is the equation: Y=-5.011 + 0.025 X1 + 0.198 X2. Cluster analysis showed that 180 tartary buckwheat accessions were classified into five groups, and the most of 47 germplasm resources with excellent agronomic traits were in group Ⅲ, showing the good branching capacity of stem, and higher GN, GW and RGY,which were better breeding materials for tartary buckwheat rice breeding.2. Analysis on SSR molecular marker: About 61 pairs of SSR primers amplified 281 bands in 177 tartary buckwheat accessions and the average pairs amplified 4.61 bands. Among them, primer 242 can amplify 11 strips at most. The amplified polymorphic primers band was 216 strips, with average of 3.54 strips, and seven pairs of primers’ strips were more than 5. PIC of all primers raged from 0.20 to 0.91, with the average value of 0.74, among them, primers 242, 004 and 184 were the highest and 6891-2 was lowest. About 21 pairs of primers’ polymorphism band percentages were 100 percent, and the average polymorphic band percentage was 80.20 percent. In marker index coefficient values, primer 242 was the highest one and reacheed to 10.01 and the average value was 3.59.The analysis on genetic similarity coefficient among buckwheat germplasm showed that all accessions were divided into five groups when the similarity coefficient was 0.706. The first group was the local variety Xiaomengqiao from Xishuangbanna, Yunnan; The second group consisted of 6 accessions, and among them, five accessions come from Weining, Guizhou and the other was from Sichuan; The third group consisted of only one variety Chuanqiao No.2 from Liangshan, Sichuan; The fourth group consisted of five accessions, from Weining(Guizhou), Taiyuan(Shanxi), Diqing(Yunnan), Liangshan(Sichuan) respectively. The fifth group gathered 164 accessions, which was the most complicated group.3. Analysis on blastogenesis’ fingerprint spectrum: there were 9 pairs of primers with high polymorphism, strong stability and nice repeatability, which had been selected out as core primer to conduct single primer and primer combination for identifying ability analysis. The results indicated that 9 pairs of primers can distinguish 177 accessions of buckwheat and divide them into six main groups. 147 banding patterns had been amplified from the 9 pairs of core primers, and the average value was 16.33. Among them, primer 184 had the richest banding patterns, which can amplify 27 kinds of banding patterns. Primer 2216-7 had the poorest banding patterns with 8 kinds of banding patterns; meanwhile, the 9 pairs of core primers could identify 49 acessions of germplasm through separate amplification.
