Camptothecin As Insecticide Against Brevicoryne Brassicae Linnaeus, Nilaparvata Lugens Stal And Chilo Suppressalis Walker

Camptothecia acuminata Decaisne of Nyssaceae is fast-growing plant, which is native to China. Camptothecin(CPT) is a kind of compound which belongs to quinoline. CPT have been indentified from leaf, root Bark and fruits of C. acuminata. CPTs are successful in treating many kinds of cancer, especially to those which is tolerant to tradition anticancer medicine. Up to now, the empolder of camptotheca acuminate alkali is still lack of research, in this work, we dicaovered that the camptotheca acumiata alkali creats sterility to some lepidoptera insects and some homopteran insects and even kills them. It is the ideal natural inseticide and has a broad developing prospect.In the present work, the effects of CPT against aphids on cabbage, chilo suppressalis and planthopper on rice was carried out under laboratory conditions and field experiments; the preparations of camptothecin were filtrated; the toxicological test of filtrated preparation was carried out, the results showed that:(1)Laboratory bioassay showed that on aphids and planthopper possessed the powerful contact toxicity with its LC50 and LC90 between 0.1-0.6mg·L-1 and 0.4-5.0 mg·L-1, respectively. The descending order of average acute toxicity to three kinds of target harmful pests was as follows: Nilaparvata Lugens Stal > Brevicoryne brassicae Linnaeus > Chilo suppressalis Walker.(2)Field experiments showed that the defending effect to Brevicoryne brassicae Linnaeus and Nilaparvata Lugens Stal achieve 94.59% and 69.06%, could not distinguish from the dispose of comparison medicament Imidacloprid 10% guard against the effect of 98.43% and 63.41%. The protecting effect and defending effect to Chilo suppressalis Walker is 85.78% and 87.69% respectively, have no remarkable differences with the dispose of contradistinguish medicament Regent 5%, guard against the effect of 92.96% and 95.03%(3) According to the national creatural safety register standard (GB15670 - 1995), the toxicity of 0.2%camptotheca acuminate alkali emulsifiable solution (CPT EC) belongs to the low poison pesticide. (4) According to the national emulsifiable solution preparation standard, establish the index and the field defending method for CPT EC.
