| Objective: Analyzes the clinical features of AS extra-articularmanifestations,and look for different betweem AS with joint damage and ASwithout the damage,To increase our understanding about the extra-articularmanifestations of AS patients.Methods: Collecting medical records of267patients with AS from2008to2011,according to the involvement situation of Extra-articular system,dividedinto6group: AS without extra-articular manifestationsï¼› AS with thecardiovascular system damage, AS with pulmonary damageï¼›AS with kidney damageï¼›AS with eye damageï¼›AS with nerve-muscle damageï¼›Analysis of the clinicalcharacteristics and related laboratory characteristicsResults:(1) The comparison of the AS without extra-articular manifestations and ASwith the cardiovascular system damage:The results showed that there was nosignificant difference among the age of onsetã€the destruction of peripheraljoints or related laboratory characteristics.But the simple AS group sex rateã€HLA-B27positive rate were significantly higher than with cardiovascular harmgroup.(2) The comparison of the AS without extra-articular manifestations and ASwith eye damage:The AS with eye damage group HLA-B27positive rate weresignificantly higher than simple AS group. There was no significant differenceamong the age of onsetã€sex rateã€the destruction of peripheral joints or related laboratory characteristics.(3) The comparison of the AS without extra-articular manifestations and ASwith kidney damage:The AS with kidney damage group CRPã€IgA were significantlyhigher than simple AS groupï¼›there was no significant difference among the ageof onsetã€sex rateã€HLA-B27positive rateã€the destruction of peripheral jointsor the rest of related laboratory characteristics.(4) The comparison of the AS without extra-articular manifestations and ASwith pulmonary damage:The AS with pulmonary damage group HLA-B27positive rateã€age of onsetã€the destruction of peripheral joints were significantly higherthan simple AS groupï¼›There were no significant difference among the sex rateã€related laboratory characteristics.(5) The comparison of the AS without extra-articular manifestations and ASwith nerve-muscle damage:The results showed that there was no significantdifference among the age of onsetã€sex rateã€HLA-B27positive rateã€thedestruction of peripheral joints or related laboratory characteristics.Conclusion:(1) women AS patients may be more prone to cardiovascular systemharm; AS with cardiovascular system damage has low sex rate and HLA-B27positiverate..(2) with eye damage patients HLA-B27positive rate was100%, may indicateacute anterior uveitis was a group of HLA-B27related independent inflammatorydisease.(3) Kidney was the most frequently involved extra-articular organs,IgAand CRP level were Significantly increased in AS with kidney damagegroup,indicating that the patient is in active period of disease.(4) Thepatients with long duration may has higher risk of lung damage.(5) AS withnerve-muscle damage rate was6%,no different with Simple AS patients. |
