| Background:Herpes zoster is a common disease and neuralgia is the most typicalsymptoms of it. However, there is lack of positive and effective treatment of neuralgiain community hospital. According to previous research of immune inflammatoryresponse, we found that cutaneous nerve block technique can be effectually used inthe treatment of herpes zoster. It may help to make the crusts generating and achegoing away, which can reduce the days of illness. But it requires further research touse in community hospital.Object:To analyze relevant factors that affecting cutaneous nerve block technique’sefficacy.Method: All of patients’gender, age, VAS(Visual analogue scale) scores, lesion area, disease course were recorded before the treatment; crusting time, VAS scores wererecorded after treatment and the occurrence of postherpetic neuralgia after threemonths were recorded.Therapy efficacyis assessed by crusting time, pain intensity andthe incidence of postherpetic neuralgia.Result:1.Therapy efficacy has no significant difference between twogenders(P>0.05).2.Therapy efficacy of non-elderly group is better than elderlygroup(P<0.05).3.Shorter crusting time and more pain intensity reduced in patients thathave shorter disease course (P<0.05).But the incidence of postherpetic neuralgia hasno significant difference in the two group.4.Therapy efficacy has significantdifference in the three skin lesion area groups. Smaller lesion area achieve bettertherapy efficacy(P<0.05).Conclusion:1. Age, disease course and skin lesion area are the therapy efficacyinfluencing factors of cutaneous nerve block technique.2.Cutaneous nerve blocktechnique is widely applicable to the crowd, and the therapeutic efficacy in non-elderlypatients with new onset is particularly notable. So it is suitable for using incommunity hospital. |
