【Objective】To detect the expression level of Decoy receptor3(DcR3) andTransthyretin(TTR) in the tissues of patients with transitional cell carcinoma ofbladder,to discuss the meaning of them in diagnosing and evaluate prognosising totransitional cell Carcinoma of bladder.【Methods】SP immunohistochemical staining method was employed to study theexpression of DcR3and TTR.50tissue samples of transitional cell carcinoma ofbladder,50tissue samples of adjacent transitional cell carcinoma of bladder (from thetumor edge about2.0cm)and20samples of normal bladder tissue were applicated.Allthe samples were selected from patients in department of Urology surgical ofaffiliated hospital of Qinghai university from September of2011to October of2012.【Results】The positive expression rate of DcR3and TTR in50tissue samples oftransitional cell carcinoma of bladder are72.00%and68.00%, the positive expressionrate of DcR3and TTR in50tissue samples of adjacent of transitional cell carcinomaof bladder are35%and48.00%,but the positive expression rate of them in20samplesof normal bladder tissue was10.00%and15.00%.The expression of DcR3and TTRin tissues of transitional cell carcinoma of bladder is obviously higher than incarcinoma adjacent tissues (p <0.01and p=0.04),and the expression of DcR3andTTR in carcinoma adjacent tissues is obviously higher than in normal bladder tissue(p=0.03and p=0.01).The expression level of DcR3and TTR have no relation withpatients, gender and age(p>0.05),but positively related with TNM stage andpathological classification of transitional cell carcinoma of bladder(p <0.05). Theexpression of DcR3and TTR are positively related in transitional cell carcinoma ofbladder(r=0.336,p=0.017).【Conclusions】The expression of TTR and DcR3in transitional cell carcinoma of bladder tissuesare obviously higher than carcinoma adjacent tissues and normal bladder tissues, so TTR and DcR3have a certain relation in occurring of transitional cell carcinoma of bladder. DcR3and TTRplay a certain role in emergence and development of different stage of transitional cell carcinomaof bladder. Detecting the expression of TTR and DcR3together may be a supplement ofpathologic stage of transitional cell carcinoma of bladder, and to guide clinical doctors judgmentthe prognosis of bladder transitional cell carcinoma.
