Expression Of COL1A1in Breast Cancer And Their Clinical Significance

Objective:To assess the expression of COL1A1in human breast cancer, normal breasttissue respectively,and its correlation with clinical pathologic features in breastcancer.Methods:Collect50cases of paraffin blocks who had selected at pathologists in nan changuniversity of the first affiliated hospital randomly in2010-2013for study and with itsas the research object. Among them,50cases definitely diagnosed as primary breastcancer specimens(all are ductal carcinoma), and mammary gland tissues weredetermined by the immunohistochemical staining as normal breast tissue(from themargins of breast cancer at least5cm). All case of illness have complete clinical dataand clinical follow-up data, for first surgery, before which without any anti-tumortreatment. Detect COL1A1expression level with the EnVisionimmunohistochemistry,and compares with the clinical parameter．Results:1、The positive rate in breast cancer about COL1A1is72％and48％in normalmammary gland tissues. COL1A1of positive breast cancer was significantly higherthan the normal breast tissue, which are significant deviation(p<0.05)．2、The expression of COL1A1is negative correlated to the histologic and TNMstage of tumors(p<0.05, r=-0.383,-0.356, respectively). The positive rate ofCOL1A1in patients with lymph node metastasis and vascular infringement was muchhigher than that in no metastasis and infringement patient,(p<0.05, r=0.336,0.307,respectively). But the expression of COL1A1do not correlated with the age and thesize of the breast cancer patients(p＞0.05).Conclusion:1、COL1A1of positive breast cancer was significantly higher than theadjacentmammary gland tissue.2、The high expressions of COL1A1has the close relationship to the Invasion and metabasis of breast cancer．3、 The detection of COL1A1have the positive reference to the judge ofmalignant phenotype and provide a new indicator to judge the prognosis of thepatients with breast cancer， furthermore developed to be a new breast cancertherapeutic target．...
