Objection:To assess the efficacy of Sodium bicarbonate versus sodiumchloride in the prevention of contrast-induced nephropathy(CIN).Methods:According to evidence-based medicine method of systematic review, randomized controlled trials(RCTs) about sodium bicarbonate-based hydration inprevention of CIN were retrieved from CBM, CNKI, VIP, Wangfang, PubMed,MEDLINE and Google Scholar. The qualities of included studies wereevaluated.Data was extracted into a suitable form.At last the Meta-analysis wereoperated by using STATAstatistical software.Result:Fiannly all17RCTs from2002to January2013were included. Theresults of meta-analysis showed that the total incidence of CIN in Sodium bicarbonategroup was lower than thesodium chloride group(RR=0.614,95%CI0.399~0.944,P=0.026). There was no significant in the rates of renal replacement therapy(RR=0.693,95%CI0.329~1.460,P=0.335)or death(RR=0.725,95%CI0.402~1.309,P=0.286).Conclusion:sodium bicarbonate-based hydration was superior to sodiumchloride in the prevention of CIN before contrast based procedures. |
