Chinese Traditional Medicine Suanzhiqing On Rat Articular Cartilage Damage Effects

Objective：By studying chinese traditional medicine Suanzhiqing capsules ofdifferent extracts on rat model of acute gouty arthritis’s IL-1β、TNF-α、IL-10、IL-1Rablood levels,joint diameter variations and synovium pathological changes tocomprehensive Evaluation acid lipid capsules treat gouty arthritis inflammation andjoint protection.Method：Experiment using80Wistar rats (200±20g), were randomly divided intofive groups (control group, model group, water extraction and acid lipid clearancegroup, alcohol acid lipid clearance group and colchicine group), each16. The blankgroup and the model group were given normal saline, the water extraction and theacid lipid clearance group, colchicine group were given the water and ethanol extract,colchicine tablets suspension gavage for7days. After administration in the last0.5h,the rats’ right ankle joint diameter were measured and rat lateral ankle selected rearsuspension to cause acute gouty arthritis model by monosodium urate crystal. Aftermodeling9h、12h, selecting8in each group randomly, ankle diameter measurementmodeling, then blooding the anesthesia rats from the inferior vena cava, Elisa assayIL-1β, TNF-α, IL-10, IL-1Ra concentration. The modeling ankle removed forpathological changes observed synovitis.Result：①Suan Zhiqing can reduce the joint swelling better compared with themodel group, has a significant meaning.②Compared with model group, three druggroup can, bviously,decreased the torn cartilage factor and increase the cartilageprotection factor, of which the most obvious change is water extraction group.③Compared with model group, three drug group’s synovitis sickness significantlylighter than the model group, water extraction group is most obvious.④Comparedwith the other group, the water extraction group can increase IL-10bviously(P＜0.05). Conclusion：Chinese traditional medicine Suanzhiqing can significantly reduce joinswelling degree, reduce the articular cartilage damage factor beta IL-1and TNFalpha concentration, increase cartilage protection factor at the same time, theconcentration of IL-10and IL-1Ra, thus in the process of gouty arthritis attackrepeatedly reduce joint swelling and articular cartilage injury and the effect of waterextraction group is better.
