Objectiv:This experiment simulate overweight and weightless environment to observeimages and pathological changes in rabbit lumbar disc, and detecte the content anddistribution of theⅠ,Ⅱ Collagen and Transforming Growth Factor Beta(TGF-β) innucleus pulposus and the annulus.Investigate the medium-term affects ofweightlessness and overweight to lumbar disc, and reveale those factors that play theroles in lumbar disc degeneration of pilots.Which provide evidences to prevent andintervene the lumbar disc degeneration. Methods:We selected120healthy male New Zealand white rabbits with7-8monthsof age,and the average weight is3kg.Useing the remainder randomly to divided theminto12groups,simulate+Gz,weightlessness and+Gz\weightlessness mixed groupwhile setting up a control group. The experiment time are30days,60days and90days.After the experiment, observe images and pathological changes in rabbit lumbardisc, and detecte the content and distribution of theⅠ,Ⅱ Collagen and TransformingGrowth Factor Beta(TGF-β) in nucleus pulposus and the annulus. The rabbit’s L6-S1disc is the most affected part by the+Gz and weightlessness, so our experimentsmainly focused on the L6-S1.Results:There are not any lumbar degenerative images in lumbar radiographs and CT scans after90days in each groups. The water content of L6-S1disc in the mixedgroup, which about30%, is significantly reduced in the MRI(magnetic resonanceimaging) scan. Comparing with the control group, the proportion of diseased cells andcontent of typeⅠcollagen,TGF-βin nucleus pulposus and annulus of experimentalgroups are increased, butⅡcollagen is reduced. The differences are statisticallysignificant (P<0.05).Comparing with the simulate+Gz and weightlessness group, theproportion of diseased cells and content of typeⅠcollagen,TGF-βin nucleus pulposusand annulus of the mixed group are increased, butⅡcollagen is reduced.Thedifferences are statistically significant(P<0.05).The proportion of diseased cells andcontent of typeⅠcollagen,TGF-βin nucleus pulposus and annulus of eachexperimental groups are increased, butⅡcollagen is reduced at30days,60days and90days.The differences are statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:In the medium-term,the proportion of diseased cells and content oftypeⅠcollagen,TGF-βin lumbar disc of each experimental groups areincreased, butⅡcollagen is reduced, and the nucleus pulposus and annulus aredegeneration;+Gz and weightlessness superpose makeing the lumbar discdegeneration more severe than control group;+Gz and weightlessness superposemakeing the lumbar disc degeneration more severe than+Gz or weightlessnessindependent;+Gz and weightlessness leaded lumbar disc degeneration, and the degreeof degeneration is positively correlated with the exposure time; The fluid hydrostaticpressure between disc and vertebral, which affected by+Gz andweightlessness, influence matter and energy exchange and that may be an importantfactor leading to lumbar disc degeneration. Objectiv:Discuss the clinical manifestations, signs, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, pathological features and treatment of the hibernoma. Methods:Analysis the diagnosis, treatment and literatures of hibernoma. Results:The clinica manifestations arepainless, slightly tender, unclear boundaries.Excision the tumor along the edge.Thepathological diagnosis is hibernoma.Immunohistochemistry: S-100(++), Ki-67(<5%),P53(-),CD68(-),CKAE1/AE3(-). Conclusions:The hibernoma is a rare tumor,whichonly100cases reported in worldwide. They are mostly benign but hateful.Thepathogenesis is still not clear.Hibernoma’s clinical manifestations are similar withliposarcoma.Pathology is the gold standard diagnosis for hibernoma. The preferredtreatment is complete surgical resection. The hibernoma is rich in blood supply that theremoval process may cause bleeding and shock. It is can prevent recurrence if excisionthe tumor along the edge. The prognosis is good, which is not need to radiotherapy andchemotherapy at postoperative.
